Being a mono is not the same as just regular colourblindness in our world. In this fictional universe a mono practically bonds to their probe mentally. Monos don't obsessively think about their probe by choice, they get addicted to the point that they can never be seperate for too long.
Pay close attention in the show and you'll see how a color rush actually effects a mono to act differently besides just enjoying the colours. The loss of colours has a big impact on their emotions and makes them act in ways they normally wouldn't just to get their fix of colours.

Cherry Magic 12-2-2021 HYPE post!!
Alright a lot of stuff is happening in our fandom and I thought it'd be good to summarise it here for fans who mainly get their CM news from this place. Info is sourced from TvTokyo site.
1. BLU-RAY BOXSET UPDATE
So we knew about this for a while. They'd release a special blu-ray boxset of the show but we didn't know all the details yet.
So currently you'd get the full show + 30 minutes of footage from production of the drama + an unreleased episode 10 scene!!! (ep 10 was fluff episode so this'll be cute) + Minato's dance special edition (I think his full dance will be shown).

I know they also have this web-lot event where 4 random people who order before March 3rd will get signed pics of main leads but that's a pretty low chance of getting something.

However, they added a new online event!! Specifics aren't mentioned but it's only for Blu-ray purchasers and you get a ticket to an online event. It is seperate from the Thai Event because the posts about the Blu-Ray boxset event and the Thai event were made on the same day on the site. The Blu-ray boxset event included no details so it's different from the Thai event one which included every detail about the tickets and dates.

2. THAI EVENT CM
So they call this ''MAGIC HOUR With Eiji Akaso & Keita Machida'' which sounds promising and they'll both be there. It will be Thai and Japanese language only. Tickets to that event are in store from Saturday, February 13, 2021 noon (JST) to Saturday, February 27, 2021 15:00 (JST). The show is scheduled to take place on 2021 February 27 (Saturday) 17:00 till 18:30 (JST).
They also again added this web-lot event where 10 people with tickets will get signed posters of CM with their name through random selection.

True they may really be seeing the advantages of the international market with BLs. Cause while normal jdramas don't break through the national borders a lot, BL-fans will find out about any qualitative BLs and support it if possible. We are dedicated like that.

There's also the huge market for BL in China, Taiwan, Thailand and other Asian countries. It can make them a ton of money if they know how to please those fans. Even Korea realised that in 2020 with their many small webdrama BLs.

Yeah Japan has a history of keeping content for limited availability anyway. However this has caused international fans to become very good at finding the content, so I'm not too worried about missing out on big things. Let's hope for a brighter future for all the different international fans and yeah increased ability to support the show would be nice.

Well, we can't check his mind this time so no certainty on that XD Jokes aside, yeah he looks stunning and I think it'll be an interesting story to follow. The guy who played young Amamiya also did a good job acting!

The more time passes, the more I like Torii Naoki (company president). Which is really surprising considering how he was introduced in the show. He genuinely has gotten the most character development. Male lead has had his moments but he is a frustrating character to watch at times.
Anyway I'm supportive of the couples that seem to form for the ending. I think as of episode 6 its been made pretty clear who is going to end up with who.

It has been a pretty wild journey to be honest...
Kasuga does like ML and at this point (episode 5) they're going out together. However, ML has a big softspot for Senka at this point so the Kasuga+ML thing may not last. ML has been making Kasuga jealous a lot with his actions.

Watched episode 1 of Machidas (Kurosawa) newest drama. Those eyebrows and that smile are still lethal and combine that with the bartender setting. It reminds me a lot of the Kurosawa role.

We can only hope TvTokyo sees an opportunity to make new content. In the mean time we can luckily still follow Akasos and Machidas other projects.

Saw the first episode raw, it was very enjoyable to see ^^ I like the 3 main characters already. Most of all Machida Keita of course with his charm.
Also that opening is very smooth and enjoyable to listen to.
