I would advice against (maybe even strongly) against skipping scenes between ML &FL. They are meaningful, add to the storyline on more than one level, and there is one scene (not romantic) really funny, with rather memorable question lol. (I won't say more) Unless it massively pivot and completely change tone, the show is not romance, and even what might be seen as such is very, very understated.
Honestly I love slapstick so I don't mind the lighter atmosphere and in a pre-interview one of the actors had…
I just read first sentence. Fair enough. I am sorry if my post sounded defensive. But, from experience on MDL, people consider even the tiniest of critique as "hate" and get offended. So, I just wanted to make it clear. I must say though that the atmosphere here is really good apart from the odd comment. Sometimes there are benefits to low viewership. Anyway, your post is extremly long I am afraid, so it might take me a while before/if I reply. But, I will read it.
With all due respect this is very simplistic view.I am not saying that exposing them is wrong, but it is not that…
I think we have different approach to things, because I care about collateral damage. I am NOT saying you are bad or something, but just different world view. But, I like to clarify few things: *I am totally behind Jeong Suk decision of divorce. The husband is the worst of the lot (note though she divorced him without revealing the affair). And by the way, he will be popular amongst men and women. "Bad Boys" for some reason do appeal to many women. *I am less clear about the friend.
I know it was a different time and circumstances back then but god... I would've exposed those two disgusting…
With all due respect this is very simplistic view. I am not saying that exposing them is wrong, but it is not that simple, or it is certainly the right choice. By exposing them, you are almost guarnteed that nothing happens to Jeong Suk husband. His life will not be ruined at all. We can condem the double standards of treating men and women, but he is not going to suffer a lot. Don't be surprised if he even gain popularity. The friend will suffer a lot though. Her husband, even if he wants to forgive her, will find it hard, and probably will divorce her. Then what will happen to the child? Have you thought about that? When the child is born will suffer no matter what. Her husband might also not be in great shape, because now he lost his wife, and the child he thought he fathered. The counter argument of course is better than if he found down the line, but not necessarily. Many men would still love the child.
So, when you put all the pros and cons, and remove your anger, it is not such a simple choice.
P.S: Also, there is something called forgivness, but we leave that for another discussion.
typical small town of idiots/donkeys/pigs/gossipers/cheaters/racists/fake news citizens !!! - if the FL was rich/divorced…
I live in one of the biggest and most advanced cities in the world, and I can assure you there is no shortage of idiots/donkeys/pigs/gossipers/cheaters/racists/fake news citizens. The major difference is that in small towns all people know each other so your choices are limited. But, city people are not better than small town people.

I honestly appreciate your reply, but with all due respect it doesn't address my point. I have never said that the series is bad, or getting worse. I also have nothing against typical dramas (I also said that in my original post). My point is that the drama no longer concentrate on the business. It is delving in the usual stuff. Women bonding with each other might be unusual for Western shows, but it is very typical for Korean ones, so this is not new. It is good, and I like it and enjoy it, but nothing new. What I was hoping for is almost a "work" or "long and hard journey" drama. In other words, much more focus on how to be successful, and more details and screen time about the problems. I wanted them to keep failing for much longer. Mysteries, marriage issues, potential romance, etc. All these things are enjoyable and I am having a good time, but I can no longer say this drama is very unique. It just has a unique premise, and some bold themes.
While Ju Ri fantasy is not a parody of very famous movie, but it actually reminded me little bit of Jamie Lee Curtis in "A Fish Called Wanda". But Wanda had a thing for Russian lol. (btw..hillarious movie)
I don't deny that there were some really funny scenes. I really laughed at sexpeare, and was amused by the Titanic & Basic Instict parodies. But, the fight was just slapstick. I didn't find it even the funny type. But, whatever. However, don't you feel that the series is getting away from its original premise?? They spend just little bit of screen time to show the progression in a substantial way. This episode was essentially quick exposition, few minutes that had some substance, and the rest was just comedy sketches (regarding the business I mean) I am not saying the series is becoming worse. I actually liked todays episode, but I feel it is slowly becoming your run of the mill drama (not a bad thing per se). Still enjoyable, but not as refreshing as it was in its early episodes.
My least favourite episode so far despite its very good ending. I am slightly concerned that we are deviating from the main plot, and venturing into tried and trusted stuff. I felt their business plan worked unbelievably easily. Frankly, I didn't buy the scene at hairdresser salon. The chairman's wife reaction upon seeing O Geum was inconsistent with the recent events between these two. Idk, things (business wise) are starting to be too easy for them, which is both unrealistic and disappointing from a narrative point of view. I am also starting to feel the humour starting be more slapstick rather than clever.
Having said all that, I still enjoyed the episode, but lets get back to what the series was trying to do in its early episodes rather than pivoting to your typical stuff.
I wanted to know if there is romance between the leads? And is FL already married to someone?
Romance is certainly not the main plot. It is not even the secondary plot imo. As much as I think this series deserves to be watched for its many qualities, if romance is the main reason why you watch drama, then maybe it is not for you.
This is a theory that I have regarding Dohyun. Please read it and tell me what you think. I haven't watched the…
Believe it, or not, I had the same thought. It just make a good shock value, but I hope this will not be the case. In my opinion all the side plots should remain low key, so they don't distract from the main story.
It was, wasn't it ? lol

Some dramas have a poor protagonist, but somehow she has all these great outfits.
He is a bit sterotyped, but still so loveable.
This drama is shaping to be a really good one.
