At its core is transforming the country from democracy to dictatorship. Essentially the President can get rid…
Ok. Thanks.
I read that on BBC, but if you are Korean/Korean origin as your name suggest, then you probably know what you are talking about.
Either way, I can't see him surviving to the end of his term.
I am surprised his party didn't already completely ditch him just from selfish perspective. He is a big liability to them.
But, honestly, he needs to be tried for what he tried to pull. Impeachment is not enough.
I am not usually prone to hyperbolic statements, but considering that SK has been a democracy only for about 35 years, his action was a genuine threat to the process.

He survived the impeachment vote by 3 votes. The opposition has 192 out of 300 members. To impeach him they needed 2/3. So, they needed 8 members from his party to vote with them. Only 5 did that.
He is still under huge pressure to resign though because of demonstrations, and potential national strikes.

I search another dramas to watch with no romance and no action, can you help me?
If you like workplace dramas:

Hot Stove League (Sport Team)
Black Dog (School)
Misaeng: Incomplete Life (Corporation)
These have no romance or action.

I agree, very very rushed
In general I like the fact that Kdramas are a bit of everything, but this works well when they usually don't loose focus of the main stroyline/premise, and I have seen this done very well in many dramas.

Furthermoe, knowing that there are only 12 episodes the creative team should have paid more attention.

I don't think the problem is all "structural", although a bit might be.
I think they got cold feet. They wanted to present something new, but didn't have the courage to do it wholeheartdly. They probably thought it won't be perceived well. So, they went for this half assed measure, where we had a taste of it, but then went back to the usual stuff.

P.S: I am aware this is a remake, and this or that might have been in the original. If they wanted to change things they can very easily do it.

I think 12 would have been fine if they have just stuck to the main story, and kept the side plots minimal.

*LAST EPISODE & FINAL THOUGHT*

Let me first say that Ra Mi Ran is a legend!
The last episode wrapped up nicely, but it left me with even bigger sense of what could have been.
I wish the series filled its time in what happened in those 4 years instead of giving us the usual serving of Kdramas after luring us with a fresh premise (for Kdramas) and bold topics.
All that said, it was a good drama which offered something different even if it was in mild doses. We were certainly treated to some good comedy, and some memorable scenes. The friendship between the female leads was also nice and heartwarming.
The acting was solid by everyone, but without any stand out performance that one can remember for years to come. Surprisingly, I felt the FL was probably the least engaging from the 4. I don't know whether this is the actress or the charcter design/direction.

Good, and entertaining with some bold discussions about some taboos. However, the overall feeling is that of missed opportunity due to its failure to fully embrace its premise.

Although I enjoy this show and I’m looking forward tomorrow’s final, I must admit it was more fun in the beginning…
I largely agree.
At the beginning it was much funnier, and fresher. But, slowly it morphed into your typical Kdrama. However, it still had glimpses of its original premise and bold (by Kdrama standards) approach.
I enjoyed it, and had good fun (I mean I like typical Kdrama), but didn't live up to its amazing start. It almost lost the courage of its conviction.

Most likely to find your roots and where you came from
It is a matter of opinion.
It is largely irrelevant why the chilld was put to adoption.
My point is that the adopted child is potentially harming (maybe even greatly) the lives of biological parents. I think women, in particular, would suffer from such revelations. Being judged is the simplest, and possibly even being divorced and kicked out.
If you think this is worth the piece of knowledge that the adopted child gained, fair enough.
Personally I don't think so.
I consider it very selfish, and even very irresponsible.
I can sympathse with the adoptive children feelings, but not with their action to find their biological parents.

I disagree, but let's leave it at that :). We just have different opinions.

First of all, I am talking in general, not about the series.
Well, not necessarily. There are many reasons why people give children for adoptions. And sometimes (maybe many times) the child is way better off with the adoptive parents.
...But, lets say, someone made a mistake.
Why do you want to punish them after decades?? is that a revenge?
Isn't that a bit bad to hold grudge for such a long time? like I can understand it if you end up having a miserable life.
But, if you have a good job, and good life. Why potentially harm others?

It is a selfish act in my opinion.
To satisfy your need, you are willing to risk the lives of others.

It is probably instinct, or genes, or whatever, but I am not sure why people who have been adopted by good regular familes want to find their biological parents after decades? ( a similiar thing those who try to find their fathers through sperm donations)
Ok, there are these cases when there is a dramatic reason and biological parents are looking for their babies, but I think overwhelmingly it is a sad backstory where the child has been given to adoption.
What is the point of potentially harming the lives of others just because of curiosity? I do have some sympathy for these children, but I don't think they should look for their biological parents, especially if they have grown up to be reasonably ordinary people.
Also, I can imagine that adopting parents, who raised that child, must feel at least tiny bit hurt when they see their child looking for their biological parents.

Geum Hee was harsh. I felt sorry for Young Bok because she was guilty by association. She did not want to reveal…

Why do you think that?
I would say the opposite. In heighten emotional situations your judgment is clouded and you often say things that are not what you think when you are calmer. When you are angry with someone, you want to hurt them.
If you take the opposite of anger. When people are in a really joyful and happy moments, they say overly sentimental and great things about who they are with.
Sometimes those things are true in both cases, but more often than not, most of these things are product of that moment and state of mind.

The story seems straightforward, and with the fast pacing of the first two episodes, it looks like it might wrap…
Thank you.

Does anyone know if this is a limited series where they wrap things up by the end, or is it going to be a Western style lets end on a cliffhanger then we will see?

im afraid they are straying too far from the main premise which is selling the adult products + womance. i don't…
Agreed.
Tbh at this point, the premise feels more like subplot.
It is still good drama, but after week 1 it was strong 8.5 with potential to go 9 for me.
Now it is soft 7.5. I hope it holds at least here.
