👆This! This is exactly how I felt too. I even wanted the same things - 'substance' and 'character'. Your drama can't just be vibes and aesthetic! FYI, before the drama had even aired I was ready to ride and die for this drama. But no matter how much I simp the cast, I have to admit that the storytelling fell short of what I was expecting. I think that's why I feel frustrated and took a lot of notes because I love these actors and feel like they deserved better.

I have such a love-hate relationship with Moon Lovers: Scarlett Heart Ryeo. I was so mad with where the ending was heading that I had to nope out of the last episode. Me every time someone mentions MLSHR - "We don't talk about Bruno" 😂. Anyway......can't wait to see LJG again!!!

Normally, I love watching fight scenes, and I love PBG, but this is the first time I've shouted at a character to STOP fighting.

I like how DJ applies the life of boxing to his job, but I also wish he'd emphasise the importance of rest and development in sport. At least in Bloodhounds, they knew that they were not strong enough to defeat their opponent, took a moment to bulk up, and then came back stronger.

I'm not gonna lie. Bloodhounds 2 is all I think about when I watch Good Boy. It's like the hype party before the big party 😂. I'm just so excited.

I am really connecting with Da Eum. In episode 7, when she is overcome with happiness because she is finally in a movie to the point of tears, I really felt that! I also feel in the same way. Like it's just too much to handle. I experience emotions on the very extreme end of the scale. When I'm happy, I'm REALLY happy, and when I'm hurt, I'm REALLY hurt. So even though I know on the outside that Da Eum might seem too smiley and happy, to me that is what feeling looks and feels like. She's just experiencing emotions on a very different scale to everybody else, and it's uncontrollable, and I totally get that.

I've been a fan of his ever since Good Manager. But, based on what I've seen from his previous works most of his roles are action. I think he used to do romance. But he's been leaning back into romance since My Dearest and One Dollar Lawyer. I've also watched him in Awaken, The Veil, and Remember. He gives a an amazing performance in all of them. In terms of talent, I put him up there with actors like Ji Sung. Very reliable actors. It doesn't really matter what you watch because you can trust that they will deliver good acting.

I expected Nanon's acting to be good, but I didn't expect Mind to be so good as well. She's really held her own as an FL, to the point where I have said that I will likely continue to watch her dramas because I have confidence in her acting.
There are a lot of Thai actors that I like, but there's only a few whose acting has been consistent and convinced me. Nanon sold me after watching The Gifted, and I think I might now have to add Mind to the list.
I've seen a lot of dramas with characters who have Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Mind's is up there with some of the best acting I've seen! I'm really shocked because I feel like she's giving a more-than-average performance for a drama that doesn't have a lot of limelight. I feel like her acting deserves more attention. But anyway, IYKYK.
In episode seven, the actress shows that she has really understood each character that she plays and knows them all well enough to switch without the need for fun effects or transitions. That was just raw talent!

Oh, I can already feel myself getting emotional from just reading the plot for Marriage Contract 😂
I'm not brave enough to watch the ending for MLSHR! I got to the penultimate episode and was like nope, nope, nope, nope 😂!

Yes, that scene in the restaurant with the glances reminded me a lot of Lost. I think the acting and directing in both dramas is very good.

Is it okay to ask what the other drama was? I'm always up for another good drama!

Episode 11 was such a great example of this. I was sat up for that argument between hosu and his mum. They built up that argument from the start of the drama, so that we could get all those emotions bursting out in that one scene. That scene was wonderfully stewed!

I have so much drama on my to watch list. By episode 4, I thought this one was going to get lost amongst them all. But I am glad I figured out my schedule and managed to keep this one on the list!

Nobody told me today was gonna be such a criey day 😭😭😭. I feel like a freaking dart board; They got me again, and again, and again…😭😭😭.

I started watching Kdrama 10 years ago for the feels. And all I can say is, they still got it!!! 🙌🙌🙌

RE question 3 - That's interesting. I interpreted it a little bit differently. I thought he was like, I don't how to say it, 'threatening' the dad, like a psychological tactic 😅. Like, putting the pressure on the dad slightly to help him realise that even if he gets his way it's not the right answer for Daeum.
