I really like how logical the story writing is so far, e.g. Pete is born deaf > Parents try to give him back his hearing > Consequently, he gets possessed by a demon > Niran uses the soul-binding to stop the demon/Pete from losing control > Together they use the demon's hearing ability to find Qi Rong...
It just goes to show that drama doesn't need to look perfect to have a solid structure.
I love a story that is easy to follow, and you can see how the scene after connects to what happened before it π
I was watching episode 11 on DisneyPlus, and just as the coronation was about to start, the scene suddenly cut! (This was before I knew what was happening BTS). At first, I thought DisneyPlus was doing that thing were it cuts the credits and skips to the next episode. But when I replayed the end of episode 11 again, it was completely gone. I thought I had accidentally seen a bit of the next episode, which I do sometimes π.
There's a K-drama to laugh with, a K-drama to fall in love with, and there's a K-drama to cry with - This is my K-drama to cry with. The last K-drama I cried like this with was Lost.
Am I the only one who hated episode 6? I genuinely canβt understand why Shin Seori got lost in the forest. She…
My only issue with that scene is that the path they took into the forest was lit up π€. So all she had to do was follow the lit path back to the resort π€. I think someone on set must have missed that detail.
I enjoyed this way much more than I thought I would!
Like waaaayy much more.
I had such a good laugh (especially Chae Ni's coffee-transportation-round-the-world montage). I was genuinely sad and happy with the characters. If the drama gets renewed, I will watch it again! And, it had some of the best uses of Creep by Radiohead that I have seen - I rewatched the whole ending of episode six twice!! I love that the drama is so messy and chaotic. I love that the characters are unabashedly uncouth. The WONDERfools, The Atypical Family and Family Matters have been some of the best down-to-earth portrayals of superheroes I have watched. I have been watching K-drama for yeeeaaaars, so I am no longer swayed by hype (most of the time π ), so please believe me when I say this is a fantastic, well-made show with a loveable cast.
For me, a drama becomes a 10/10 when I donβt skip even a single scene. Itβs not just about the actors or the…
For me, it's when I go back to capture every single word said and to purposefully try to understand the scene π€. I don't want the episodes to end π
That slap felt real π³
The ending: When you love that hard, you hurt that hard π

All I know is that I have fallen HARD for this drama. So hard that I am going to listen to Harry Styles Falling right now!
I started singing Billie Eilish π
