I enjoyed this way much more than I thought I would!

I had such a good laugh (especially Chae Ni's coffee-transportation-round-the-world montage). I was genuinely sad and happy with the characters. If the drama gets renewed, I will watch it again! And, it had some of the best uses of Creep by Radiohead that I have seen - I rewatched the whole ending of episode six twice!! I love that the drama is so messy and chaotic. I love that the characters are unabashedly uncouth. The WONDERfools, The Atypical Family and Family Matters have been some of the best down-to-earth portrayals of superheroes I have watched. I have been watching K-drama for yeeeaaaars, so I am no longer swayed by hype (most of the time 😅), so please believe me when I say this is a fantastic, well-made show with a loveable cast.
I really wish someone would tell Jay to stop hanging out with his 'friends'. I don't think he should be spending time in their company - They seem like a bad influence!

I really appreciate your insights, and I definitely had the same thought about number 5. Even though dramas will always have creative license (it adds to their edge), I think it’s great that we can still appreciate the differences between fiction and real life — and even learn from them.
I'm not going to lie, up until episode 4, I was thinking about dropping the drama because it was not giving me much feeling, but since the ml found out that the fl is a woman, the drama has really picked up the energy and the tone and the antics. I'm really enjoying it now!
But first of all, I love the cast - my first Takeru Satoh drama that I can remember was Bloody Monday and my first Jun Shison drama that I can remember was Joshi-teki Seikatsu.
I always focus on details, so these notes might seem small, but.
1) I was a bit confused about the joint live performance from the hospital and the concert venue. I just kept thinking the sync would be so off in real life, no?!
1a) How did they set up all the camera equipment on the hospital room so fast? Plus a 360 dolly track rail on the floor?!
2) Why was the whole room lit with candles during the mobile streaming performance?! If you're shooting the video in portrait mode then there's no reason to light the whole room.
All of this to say, I felt like the direction was aimed at the real life audience (us) instead of the audience in the story, There were so many scenes, which I felt were for OUR viewing experience that went beyond the world they were trying to create.
