In case anyone is too scared of watching because they don't like sad dramas, I just want to tell you that the tissues aren't all for the sad moments. I have cried through the happy moments too!!! ๐
Oh ep6 preview.... why am I hopeful that the production is probably not going to be stopped? And we were left…
As everyone here has already said I too believe the ml will continue the movie. However, for me the sign was a little bit different. The sign I got was early in episode 5 when they are sitting around the table talking about the scandal. Despite the threat of a scandal the next scene is him outside texting Daeum ๐. I don't think he cares too much about what other people think. That for me was foreshadowing of what might happen in the future. If anything was to happen, he would prioritse her.
I love that he finally played a good guy in Prisoner of Beauty! I always had hope. Hope thereโs more to come.
I was looking for this comment ๐ I too am happy that he is finally playing a good character again. When he went back to Bianzhou I thought, here we go again! But then I was so happy when he came back ๐ญ
Watched till 9 episodes and this gotta be my most favourite drama from spring season along with "spice" we so…
I agree. There were a few instances where I questioned Makoto's actions. For example, when she was being pursured by the killer, and instead of running away she kept filming and walked closer to the killer. However, I generally liked her character because she trusted Hiroki. And I also trusted Hiroki, so it was easy to side with her compared to the rest of the characters. I didn't find the 'evidence' that the other characters found convincing to be sufficient enough at the start to accuse him of being a killer. What was more suspicious for me was that he lied...a lot. So the only thing I could accuse him of was being a bad boyfriend.
Finally, finished the series. However, I'm not sure if I understand the meaning of the English drama title. Can anyone tell me what they think it means? I translated the Chinese drama title literally, but it didn't help me to understand the meaning of the English drama title๐ .

In the beginning, I was just in awe and kept saying "what a smart and strong FL" and "what a scary but at the…
Agreed, especially about the villan Lady Yulou. I didn't like her because she was on the opposite side of the ML and FL. However, I kept thinking that if she had been on the side of good rather evil, I would have appraised her confidence, ambition, ingenuinity and adaptability.
I'm about to lose my mind. As much as I love Shison Jun in this, the shoddy investigation irates me ๐ ๅท้ใช๏ผๅท้ใช๏ผ๐ง.
Ep9 - Why are they prosecuting based on just a confession? Why are they not prosecuting based on the ***evidence***? Why are the police following the media instead of following the facts? Why are they not trying to follow the truth instead of trying to confirm their biases?
Sorry, I've been binge watching a lot of court TV lately ๐
I have been watching Liu Yu Ning consecutively for months! Normally, I'm not behind dramas, so I see different actors each month, but I started The Prisoner of Beauty Late and then just as I was finally catching up, Eternal Brotherhood came out, and now this!!! I can't even catch a break because I want to watch all his dramas ๐ฉ๐ฎโ๐จ๐
I feel like I have to thank A Shop For Killers for this! ๐๐๐. It's just my own theory, but I feel like LDW did such a good job in A Shop For Killers and I feel like I wasn't the only one who noticed because we are now getting his gangster era ๐๐๐
I'm scared to say it this soon, but I think I've fallen in love with Our Movie.
I just love winding down for the night and listening to them talk ๐.
The way that the drama is filmed makes everyday moments feel special. I recently watched Forever on Netflix, and I wished there were more magic moments like this! It feels magic because it's special to the characters. And I think when viewers see that, they connect with the character's world and they start to feel it too.
I'm ready to love Our Movie regardless of whether it's popular or not. Lost was a hard watch and wasn't for everyone, but it's still my favourite Kdrama ๐ . Tbh, I rarely watch dramas about sick people (I'm watching Good Boy now and before that I watched Mr Planktonโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ). But the reason I keep watching is because it's not ALL sad! It reminds me to love life for what it is - the easy and the hard, the good and the bad. It reminds me that moments aren't forever, so why not just enjoy it while it lasts? And that's exactly how I will get through this drama ๐๐ญ!
Just watched episode 2 and this is so good! The chemistry between them is insane and they are not even in love…
Omg I was saying the exact same thing in ep2. The romance hasn't even begun yet, but I'm already there ๐คฃ! What's it going to be like if/when they actually fall in love ๐คฏ
Is it possible the Drug Demon might have a change of heart later on? Possibility of a redemption arc? She seems…
DJ's personality is why I keep coming back to the drama.
I was not expecting him to find out who the criminal was right at the start nor to start chasing JY. DJ's confrontational approach is different, and it's one of the reasons I keep watching. Now that I think about it, it's very much like how a fighter would challenge their opponent: Out in the open with nothing to hide.
I think there are two ways to catch a criminal: You can keep your cards hidden or you can reveal them all. When criminals know you are watching them, it could make them runaway and harder to catch, but it could also disorientate them because they know they are being watched and they will always have to look over their shoulder because someone is waiting for them to slip up.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but in my years of watching fantasy cdrama, I have never really seen a cp showing this much skinship. They are always holding hands, always embracing each other, and comfortable in bed together. There have been none of the usual 'whose having what bed?' discussions. It seems normal to them to share the same bed. There's something so open and modern about their relationship that I don't see normally in these kinds of dramas. Normally, there's a lot more modesty, and I don't see that with them, so it's really refreshing. I now call them my 'PDA (public displays of affection) couple' ๐
However, I'm not sure if I understand the meaning of the English drama title.
Can anyone tell me what they think it means?
