No it's stupid/dumb/brainless but Chinese people normalize this word so it doesn't have the same effect. I have been hearing this my whole life so it doesn't bother me as much.
So you would rather he be an asshole by nature? I really don't mind his backstory in the drama.
He is not in the drama but he is definitely one in the novel. I start reading a couple of days ago, and with his health family environment and well off background, can't really justify his asshole personality and behaviour. I feel really bad for the FL in the novel for falling for him.
I think it makes sense to give him a backstory in the drama to justify his bad behaviour so audience can see him in a better light.

Yes it depends on the type of dog. Some dogs don't grow much but other dogs will grow quite a bit in a couple of months. Also could be the fur. Once the fur is wet it would be alot smaller lol My long hair cat was like that.
