Yes I'm with you. I think people are being really harsh on the FL. She was abandoned by a cruel mother at an early age and she has no one to rely on except for herself after her grandmother was ill. Not easy to just open up and trust anyone else.

Yes, having her mother abandoned her after her father died and her growing up faster, having to take on the adult role and earning money for her grandmother's illness, will make one not easy to trust.

Yeah I don't see what she did as really 'bad'. Yes, she be-friended him for her own selfish reasons but it's not as if she did anything 'bad' to him. It's the same as if a girl is actively pursuing him, and he knows she is not sincere but it's on him whether he falls for her or not.
