His personality didn't really changed except he had a wake-up call when Xu Yan filed for divorce and left him. The first part were all from Xu Yan's perspective. Even though he thought he didn't love her in the beginning and was only using her, he was still respectful and wanted to help her.
The latter half, we see that he has been doing all those good things even Xu Yan wasn't aware of. So not sure where is the big personality change except for him trying to win her back which was something new for him, and him taking advise from another amateur.

Just laziness. I don't mind spoilers and I would usually read the comments and find my answer. If I can't find it, then I will ask but there are people who copy and paste the same list of questions on every drama.

I didn't like that she listens to that weasel Steve and believes everything he said. She knows he's up to no good and from past experience, he was shady as hell. At least give SHM the benefit of the doubt whether he was sincere or not.

Thank you! everyone was out for SHM's blood as if he was the only one being deceitful. Maybe if she hasn't lied and being deceitful, he won't think she was a gold digger. I was mad at him on ep 14 but he has slowly been making up for it. Why is apology and saying I love you the ONLY sincere way to make it right. His actions speak louder than words. He will get there eventually.

I find Mandarin curses are too mild. I know many Cantonese curse words. 'Pokai' being the most popular. It's the equivalent of the F word.
