Of course it was mandatory. It's about promoting the couple on the screen. On the other side, who would want to associate him with anyone else than his leading lady at that time ? Whoever interferes and ruins the romantic image, God help them. Whoever pretends not to know this, is a hypocrite.
Living in a script is indeed hellish. And this is where the fans come into picture. Their love and support and dedication. Their appreciation recognition and their applause. People jumped to massacre his fans. How low can you stoop, even if he is guilty - and this guilty is relative..do we know what is really happening in Kdrama entertainment industry ? The culture of Koreans generally. I mean..people jumped at cutting throats and didn't even know that the legal age is 13 out there. And after some of them finally accepted it, they still judge under their personal criteria.
How can this be possible in the present times? When all the media all over the world talks about cultural diversity, under which rock did you come from to not only not understand but also to not show respect ? In this moment any ignorant can find out under 1 click that the highest age for sexual consent on Planet Earth is 21 yrs old and the lowest is 12 yrs old. And 12 yrs old isn't found in 3rd rate countries. The Morality is simple : we should not judge. That must be the end of discussion.
As for the battle of 13 yrs old law vs 16 yrs new law in Korea...that's political as bright daylight.
At the end of this entire show everything will come down between him and his fans. And if the majority of his fans will stick around, the entertainment industry will take him back and not in low level movies but in hits. The bigger the number of fans that will stick around, the bigger the hit. Because this is business. Although he might have lost fans because of cultural differences, he surely gained people with a high sense of justice and empathy for the victims of the media.
Because in the end, justice does not mean throwing stones. It takes place in the Court of Law.
It is very convenient for everybody that she is dead and cannot say what she really wants. That was a great analysis.…
No matter how different we are as people, it's astonishing that soo many people have no idea what an "Apology" means and what it brings with it. Astonishing !
Thanks for explaining the situation so clearly. The receipts and all were showed but it must be that people just…
Thank you ! Indeed, this is what agencies do. No actress or actor can make a decision when it comes to media coverage and their public image.
Which reminds me of people saying that he denied he is dating her when the picture appeared. Not only that he wasn't dating her at that time but how can he or any public figure suddenly start explaining the press that actually he did date her but a certain amount of years ago and so on. Maybe even some spicy details just for the sake of it. Same with KSR. Why should she disclose her life, her marriage ? She could barely breath once and a paparazzi was taking a picture. At the cafe she was working, how tired she was. With this they fueled the people through their media channels and never allowed them to forget and forgive. This led to her never having a proper chance to come back.
I don't understand why this was such a problem. We find out that some actors are secretly married or in a relationship, others have one or another sexual orientation that is not made public. They are selling dreams and although people know it, they change suddenly into zombies. Unless you truly become popular, better said loved, as a public figure you must comply with the market demands. Only then people will embrace you even if they don't share the same beliefs. One good example : Freddy Mercury, especially in those times.
Can someone pls pls confirm if my info is correct ? This is about the debt.
What I know for a fact is that after a DUI incident, proved in the Court of Law that she was driving intoxicated, where the damages produced were considered quite big, followed 2 outcomes : a huge debt fee for paying the damages and a fallen in disgrace because driving under the influence has a 0 tolerance in S Korea.
So, after this, whatever money she had was gone on payments of the damages and her career got canceled because the public refused to watch her eventual future works. The media also hunted her down every single moment which made her comeback impossible.
At a certain point after this, GM Agency agreed to pay part of the amount of the debt on her behalf because they considered her “redeemable” in the near future, planning to retrieve the debt through monthly payments during a certain amount of years, conditions agreed by both sides.
Because she didn’t pay the monthly installments, she received a formal letter that announced she is long due, so clearly she must do something about it. So at this point she tried to reach KSH asking for the due date to be delayed, he didn’t answer her messages and after a few days MG Company declared her debt uncollectible.
In Accounting, this means that the money can’t be retrieved at that time so her monthly payments are stopped. I know clearly that this doesn’t mean it can’t be collected later, when she will make some money, but it puts things on hold for a certain amount of time. At least until she can pay what she has owed up to that moment.
MG Company announced this decision to an official person from her side, official proof of conversation exists, and it remained for that side to announce her. I remember very well in the conversation MG Company insisted they make sure she will be announced of this decision.
There is no question and no doubt that the debt couldn’t be cancelled. If the MG Agency did that, it would mean fraud and tax evasion. It can disappear only if someone pays for it. So they would continue declaring it uncollectible for ever. I don’t know the Accounting rules in S Korea. Maybe after a period of time it’s allowed to be closed permanently from the accounting books as being prescribed.
There is one thing I don’t know. When did the DUI incident happen? Before or after moving to MG Agency ?
So, can someone tell me exactly which statement released by GS are we supposed to blindly believe now? 1 - that…
Oh ! Easy question ! There can be only one answer. The one that will go down in history : "NO innocent person goes beyond and above to prove their innocence..."
At the time of KSR's death, they were still married, although her husband stated in the interview that they had…
another question that bothered me was why the family refused the autopsy. there are 2 things : certificate of death and autopsy report. without the report you don't know the time of death. the death certificate only shows the date the body was found. nothing more. The thing is that in Korea, autopsy isn't mandatory. and you need the family accept. which leads me to the question : when exactly did she die ? was the death certificate ever shown ?
Thank you @brokendishes for the video. The lady seemed to be very informed and dedicated to KSR so I will assume her information is right, that KSR was married but separated at the time of her death. Falling in love, rushing into marriage then separated on good terms and prepared for divorce. Being separated at the time of her death, her husband couldn’t have watched her nor had a chance to prevent what followed. This answered one of my questions.
Supposedly she was abused, groomed, raped, humiliated and dominated for years. Then she met a wonderful man, they fell in love and got married. In this situation 2 things can happen 1. She either wants to put her past behind her and chooses to have a clean start, a new life together with her loved one or 2. She wants to fight the injustice that was done to her all these years, having proof in her phone and with the loved one by her side encouraging her.
If she wanted to put the past behind her and start a new life it means she was strong enough to move on. Then why did she end her life ?
If she chose to fight back, having the support of her friends and her husband who will stand by her and protect her, then why didn’t she do it and ended her life instead ?
Some say she protected him till the very end. Then why did she upload that photo knowing that it will cause a media frenzy and his career will be in danger at least ?
Others say that she finally gathered the courage to fight back trying to tell her story but nobody believed her. Then why didn’t she post her story telling how she was abused and used for years on her social account, together with the proof from her phone ?
She didn’t even need to go to court. Media would have crucified him instantly. And if she wanted to feel safe, she could have done it from USA, with her husband beside her, watching how things unravel from afar.
Right now, I know that she didn’t use the evidence to take him down, her family didn’t use the evidence to take him down either, because they only wanted an apology. Later on, after they got their hands on a fabricated video, they filed a lawsuit with it, a video that soon was declared fake by an authorised institution. I mean..the family didn’t even send that video to verify if it’s fake but used it in a lawsuit instead of using the evidence from the phone ? The same evidence that seems to appear everyday and the entire globe is shaking ?
I admit at this point I am confused.
So, thank you again @brokendishes for the video. I really wasn’t interested in the alleged abuses or abortions, nor I am interested in what her ex-boyfriend said, that she cheated on him with her husband. I just wanted to find a logical connection between her life and the alleged abuses, because so far KSH team came with evidence verified and certified by a special institution and her family team came with words, unverified papers and even fabricated data. No matter how hard I’m trying to be impartial…how is this justice for KSR when nobody knows what she was thinking and what exactly was that she wanted ?
Officially, no divorce certificate or marriage annulment document was presented. There is only the statement of…
I said it very clear that I believe it's just a media circus , because reading the law he will win every single file complained...or however it's called. Srry..I am a bit tired. And from what I saw by now, his team came with counterattack verified and approved by an authorized institution compared to the other side who not only has nothing approved but they were also caught with fabricated evidence.
The marriage status is important to find out if her husband could have watched for her which can happen only if they are still married, in order to try at least and prevent what came next, as well as for me to make some possible scenarios trying to find links of possible abuse. At this point my balance inclines in his favor. the other side, except for words, evidence not verified and certified and also fabricated evidence, they showed nothing.
Anyway, the husband will be an important figure at the trial. He has a lot of storytelling.
At the time of KSR's death, they were still married, although her husband stated in the interview that they had…
I understand. It surprises me the family didn't know about the husband. I know that they didn't know about the existence of KSH. But not even the husband ? I mean...how can this be possible. They knew absolutely nothing about anything for around a decade ? Did they at least know about her suicide attempts ?
We probably have to wait until Guru Garosero broadcasts something about this. Then the justice parrots will come…
wow ! I can imagine the haters being hysterical animals, I've seen it on MDL for much less, but who exactly are these horrific people? Are they haters of the actor with a present chance to attack him better or they are just the usual delusional kids that went on demented full mode directly ?
it's still an enigma to me that we don't know if she died a married woman. I mean... aren't her fans supposed to know these things ?
Rumor has it that he was present at the funeral, but who can confirm this?
I agree is not our business, but if people talk for the sake of talking and accuse a person so easily when a person who could have been married just died on her husband's watch, I would like to understand the reason for so much hate against KSH. For the rest of your message my answer is the same as I answered to someone below.
We probably have to wait until Guru Garosero broadcasts something about this. Then the justice parrots will come…
There shouldn't be long summaries. First we need to know if they were still married or divorced at the time of death. This will explain many many things about everybody's present actions. It will make light immediately.
If they were married, then is game over. She was on his watch.
If they were divorced then questions arise : if he knew about her being abused by her ex why didn't he contact the family ? why didn't he support her with legal action ? why did he accept a divorce with her being so fragile without having her back as a friend or at least or as a human being knowing she has a history of at least 10 suicide attempts ?
Then, from here we can follow the timeline backward. For eg. : the husband or the ex-husband failed her, who was the closest one to her before him ? what did that person do ? Of course..this is all for the sake of having a conversation...morally speaking which ignites fire because we are all very very different people.
But if this page is filled with both love and hate why not fill it with some objective and constructive talks as well ?
Rumor has it that he was present at the funeral, but who can confirm this?
So there's no actual info about this either. this is odd. theoretically, the closest person to her before her death was her actual or ex-husband who might or might have not attended her funeral. There were questions about KSH attending the funeral.
Is it proper in S Korea to attend a funeral as an ex. with her husband or ex-husband there? Is it proper in S Korea to attend a funeral as an ex. if her husband or ex-husband is not present ?
If the husband or ex-husband wasn't at the funeral doesn't say too much, anyway. We can only speculate about their marriage.
Rumor has it that he was present at the funeral, but who can confirm this?
thx. one more question, pls. what was their marital status ? I know for sure that they were married but I don't find anything that shows they were still married or divorced at the time of her death.
A very good and objective analysis, which the haters have already covered with their filth. If you allow me, I…
lol. no worries. use it anytime you need. it's more than enough to bury their comments for a while...that big it is...lol. I think they didn't try to truly trash me yet because they didn't exactly understand what I wrote so they wouldn't know where to begin. at this point they formed a tiny community so they give each other the likes without questions asked. Soon it will be game over and they must take their toys and go play somewhere else...hopefully to mourn in order to have some closure and move on. :) Fighting !
Well said…. I wonder how haters can’t digest or get these facts into their brain. Ohhhh yeahhhh they don’t…
my best guess is that facts aren't part of their reality generally because they can't make a difference between fact and opinion. they didn't learn yet.
A very good and objective analysis, which the haters have already covered with their filth. If you allow me, I…
clearly there is no self awareness present. they will disappear soon. this entire circus started to crumble . maybe a new celebrity will be involved in a scandal so they will be camping there.
A very good and objective analysis, which the haters have already covered with their filth. If you allow me, I…
Thank you ! Yes, you can use it as many times as you need. Thx for the link, I don't know what exactly is going on in S Korea right now with the political parties but I like to be informed so I'll check it right away. I also noticed they achieved part of the intended goal but in these cases they usually become too confident and that is when their narrative becomes exaggerated. That's the moment they start losing control and the audience. My best bet is that the actor will get back and stronger than before and I fear the family will take the fall for everything and will be massacred by the mob. As for the haters, I'm not an idiot...I knew I will be attacked and in minority so I accepted the consequences. What is funny is that I was called a "new fan".
