KSH Prevention Act signed by those 50k people from the entire S Korea nation is a request from those 50k people to the law enforcers to raise the legal consent from 16 yrs to 19 yrs old. This means that 50k people want to change the law right now.
It is also offensive that they gave the Petition the name of a person that wasn't found guilty of anything yet. This is practically a bad joke.

This Prevention Act is legally invalid because :
1. It involves allegations that are currently under investigation (it’s illegal to change the law over an issue that wasn’t been decided by the Court of Law yet)
2. it’s illegal to make a petition based on possible false information (it’s illegal to change the law if the information might be false)
3. it’s illegal to make a petition that involves a private dispute or personal matter (it’s illegal to use your personal problems to change the law )

What is Save Kim Soo Hyun Petition ? Save him from what ? Be more clear, pls. There are endless Petitions filed by anyone who was in the mood to file one, regarding KSH subject.

A Petition is a WISH. Anyone can file a Petition. Even you, right now. It can be filed online or it can be filed with the authorities of a country. Depending on the country and depending the subject, it requires a certain small amount of signatures to be taken into consideration.

Then it is revised which can last for months, even years exactly because there are so many of them. If it’s approved it goes to the Parliament or so. Then it is revised there and IF it’s taken into consideration it will be voted. Then it enters in the Code of Law and after that is applied in the lawsuits.

My answer is : Bullies are coming from everywhere. From both the side of KSR and KSH and even strangers. KSR was bad mouthed even by the same people that today speak for her family in the Korean Media, representing the family voice. They have also bullied KSR when she was alive in their videos calling her names. And today they say they are protecting KSR.

When I came here on this page a few days ago, I posted my opinions and asked questions. There were people who answered me decently and people who bullied me low key, disrespected and blocked and talked about me behind my back. The people who you say are KSH fans on this page have never forced me to side with KSH nor tried to convince me KSH is innocent.

The people who are following the family of KSR always posted messages that if people are not convinced KSH is guilty, that means I am failing KSR’s memory and the Justice for KSR, that I am insane or pathetic or stupid or so many other words. This means that if I don’t believe in KSR’s family, a family that didn’t find out why did KSR intended to kill herself 18 times and help her fight for her life, I don't care about KSR. That is wrong !

I do care about KSR and I care about Justice. I also believe in “innocent until proven guilty” because I know how lives are destroyed, because of people who lie and falsely accuse others. You don’t have to understand or believe KSH is innocent. Just give him the chance to tell his story and prove it if he can, under the law, in the Court of Justice.

I think you are not correctly informed about poor Won Bin. The YT Channel that represents the voice of KSR’s family, had a press conference where they said that the wife of the guy who gave them a recording, said that Won Bin helped her and her husband and she is grateful. After this press conference, the video was analyzed at an authorized institution and declared fake/fabricated and Won Bin’s representatives came out in the media and said that Mr. Won Bin doesn’t know these people and doesn’t understand why KSR’s family is dragging him in this story.

As I see these silly psychological little games unfolding, people are in a serious bubble of untrust and fear to the point of paranoia. Possible attacks at someone's "dignity" or "popularity", weapons like reporting to the admins truthful or untruthful wrongdoings in a virtual world have ravishing effects when they shouldn't even matter. No wonder they say that if you die in the virtual world you die in the real world.

No wonder a person almost took their life here, on MDL and all in the name of Justice for KSR. Whatever that means. Clearly there are cultural differences but made to look even bigger by one or another's crave for....being right? What is right ? What is the norm ? 2 people having sexual intimacy repeatedly but not considered a couple unless declared exclusive VS A couple walking side by side in a park but not allowed to hold hands. Friends who kiss on the mouth VS Lovers who kiss on the mouth. Having consent at 21 VS Having consent at 16. Big age gap VS Low age gap. And so on...

With every judgement thrown it shows a lack or inability of understanding other cultures which can lead to nothing good. It also shows a narrow mind that somehow thinks it's civilized and superior when in fact it trashes and bullies those who are simply not like them.

The evidence of an actor's popularity is not shown on sites with 30-40-50 votes pro or con. Not even hundreds or thousands BUT Millions.

When just a mere Instagram post intended to mock the actor in a 1 min short video, with an ambiguous title, is seen by more than 6 Million people and it received just around 200k likes....No comment.

As we speak, millions of people from all over the world are mobilized in support, with slogans like : "Stop Cyberbullying" or "Stand for fair Journalism". With around 20 Million acknowledged fans still in support, talking about MDL's hearts is super funny.

I also believe Garosero is that kind of guy that after the trial is over, he will use the contents of KSR's phone and he will attack KSR's image for the media show. I believe that any of them would be capable to do that, but Garosero is the only one who has his hands on the entire content.

People jumped to accuse KSH of staying low and not proving his innocence to them, in front of the world. When a person dies, people automatically think that person is clean of any "questionable" past.

If he would start to prove his innocence in the media instead of the lawful way, he will not only disclose parts regarding KSR that can be judged and denigrated, but also he would reveal the identity of the public figures that were around them both, without their consent. He would never ever ever be forgiven for those acts. More so, he would probably be sued.

Because by legal ground KSH will clearly win the defamation part, because of the law in S Korea, the parties accused of defamation will have joint liability - this means both the family and this Garosero guy.

But Garosero would not have gone so far if his back wasn't covered. He even used a fabricated tape that was discovered, so clearly he has some backup.

I personally believe that he will shift the blame on the family, I don't know if the family signed an agreement with him which will damage them completely, but I know that everywhere in the media they talk about Garosero seeking for Justice at the family request.

The word request means that he acted for and on behalf of the family. With this being said they will clearly take the blame. But only the most part of it, because the law punishes Garosero as well, through the "joint liability".

The thing is that I don't think S Korea divides the years of jail between the guilty, so either the family gets the jailtime, either none of them and it comes down only to paying damages.

Yes, fanatics are very very dangerous and they are everywhere. My friend told me that even here, on MDL, especially when all this media circus started, people went crazy to the point of driving others to possible suicide. I couldn't believe it people can take these things so far.

There were people that for the sake of KSR's Justice verbally attacked and bullied to the extreme KSH stans or people that were accused to defend him because they believed in innocent till proven guilty, to the point that a girl felt so abused and humiliated that she threatened to take her life if the attacks don't stop.

That was the moment my friend left the page and I started to look into the story. It's frightening that things can go so far.

No Tanky. What I am saying is that every country has it’s own system and code of law that was decided and voted on by the people. In a country where the legal age is 21, a 20 yrs old person is considered a minor. But in a country where the legal age is 18, the 20 yrs old minor is considered an adult.

So in a country like S Korea and others that have a similar law, a 13 yrs old which is viewed by others as being a minor is actually not a minor. Not only that you have to accept it as being true (because it represents the constitution in that country) you must also respect it and not judge it, because even if it’s different from the law and constitution in your country, it represents the wishes and beliefs of that specific nation.

If you judge it it means you are judging an entire nation. Not only it lacks respect for Koreans but is also very mean. A few years ago Koreans changed this law from 13 to 16. This doesn’t erase the fact that they lived for decades being used with a person to have certain responsibilities and maturity since 13. This means that a 13 yrs old in S Korea is more responsible than a 13 yrs old somewhere else. Because the individual was raised to be like that.

If there is no law against cheating, a person can break out from that relationship or divorce in case they are married.

The Law will always have loopholes that can be exploited both by the rich and powerful as well as for anyone who has a good lawyer. But this is not the case here. This is a case of morality. The Koreans that voted to change the law to 16, which are the majority because only a majority of votes can change the law, will not accept him dating her if she was 15, 14 or 13 or less. That is why the actor said that he will prove in the Court of law that he didn’t date her as a minor, not even according to the new law. So everybody is waiting for the lawsuit's result.

I am not hiding behind the law. I am talking about the law because the results of all of these things that happened will be decided by the Court.

Yes, it’s true that defamation will be decided in KSH favor. Defaming happens when the material of defamation is true as well as false. In other countries, if you defame a person with the truth you are forgiven for defaming that person. In S Korea that person will be punished even if he/she used the truth because Koreans consider that defaming a person leads to pain and suffering, depression, anxiety, etc. and even if that person is guilty, there is enough for that person to pay damages and go to jail. They consider there is no need to inflict more pain and suffering. This means Koreans are more empathic, or sensible or humanitarians, etc. It’s the way they are.

Offenders of serious crimes have escaped through the law since forever. That’s why every country and its people have the obligation to revise and change the law often. It’s their moral obligation at least.

No, I am not saying we must show empathy to those who take advantage of the weak. Never ! What I am saying is that we should never rush to conclusions and damnation when it comes to someone’s life, in an age where everything can be manipulated and manufactured to look like the truth and without the Court of Law to verify and authorise it as being authentic.These days you can’t even trust your mother’s voice, anymore.

KSH is not a martyr and will never be one. He is a person who might be as "guilty as hell" or an unfortunate victim of greed and powerplay. When the lawsuit is over we will know which one it is. And if he wins and proves his innocence he will still not be a martyr. He will be just a man, with flaws like all of us who was f***up badly.

As for KSR, you must remember that KSR is not her family and her family is not KSR. They can be searching for justice but they can also exploit her death. What alarms me is that the entire content of her phone was given to Garosero and if they didn’t sign a paper in which they give their consent, he can release any damaging information to ruin her image and exploit her. I feel very uncomfortable with the way Garosero allowed her to be portrayed. I don’t like that when they fabricated the video she was talking like that. You are right. At present, there are 2 battles that take place.
One is in the media where there are a lot of pro and con YT Channels and one of them represents the voice of the family of KSR.

And the other is the Court of Law where the actor filed lawsuits against defamation, stalking, sexual harassment (they uploaded naked pictures with him), coercion (they threatened that if he doesn't admit being guilty they will upload much more evidence).

The family eventually filed a lawsuit as well using a recording that was discovered to be fake/fabricated. The family says they have much more evidence but we don't know.

On the YT Channel, until now, it appeared bits and pieces who were either taken out of context, unverified by special institutions or proved to be fabricated.
The actor denies the allegations that he dated KSR while she was a minor.

At this point people are waiting for the lawsuits to begin so we can have an official up to date if possible. The lawsuits are expected to be over around autumn this year.
