The fortune was stolen by his father and hidden in him and after that his father made everyone forget about this incident. The only one who seems to remember is the Supervisor. This was shown in Season 1. As for belonging we know that royalty is the most powerful in Dafeng, respected and followed by the others, who are in charge of the Dafeng fortune, so when he says : "it belongs to us" it implies being royal. This is to be explored in season 2

Fingers crossed ! This role seems to be quite complex and suited for him. He can elevate it easily. If he takes this I'm sure it will be another hit. I was carefully looking for the scriptwriter's info but I don't think he is bad. I think it's at best a bit controversial. He is definitely talented, otherwise he would be the weakest link and I can't see why the crew would take someone who can possibly bring them down. His works are known to be sadistic as well...maybe this is what makes him hardly digested for some viewers. We saw there are also a lot of sensible people who raised a lot of questions about justice and XQA's actions in the end. As for accuracy of portraying the novel's essence, the Director is known to be a "master" of it so I doubt he will let things slide. Fingers crossed ! Waiting for confirmation !

Hi, Diana ! I agree. If they will put accent on the 1st trouble life as well, with him ruthless, as a contrast with his 2nd life with him all fluffy and relaxed it's going to be epic. I can already see this explosive combination.
Now a new thing appeared. LOL. Some of the so called "devoted fans" who in their small as a nut brain think he is taking no CP roles because he doesn't want to make his "girlfriend" jealous are making themselves heard despite their insistence that they want only what's best for him.
So, prepare to have fun again with the weirdos around.

There is no FL in the drama. There were 3 actresses taken into account for a younger female role and the last one mentioned is Dai Luwa. Actress and model, played in Moonlight Mystique, voices say she overshadowed Bai Lu so she is the new best thing these days. She had a FL role there, as an antagonist.
One interesting fact : there were a few Dylan fans who tried to communicate with her fans but they were immediately blocked on X. So, if she's in the drama, although she has no direct connection to DD's character (or little to nothing) they apparently don't seem to be glad about it and it seems we'll probably meet another wave of hate.

*those who actually loved both GOTD and JOL and they felt the need to mention both because for them, both represented a masterpiece so they actually stated so.
