If you think of it like the room made by the Supervisor in order to take XQA to Dafeng, then that room might not even exist. It cam be an illusion or maybe it's there and nobody can see it. As for Dafeng page, people had a tacit understanding of not allowing hate comments, bad language and more than 2-3 posts of negativity from the same user (meaning it's just a personal campaign against it, from various reasons). Each time this would happen people will respond accordingly.

All his loved ones are at peace, going on with their lives. Getting back it will only disturb them, maybe even endanger them. I guess he prefers to keep them safe and just watch them from time to time, especially when he is not exactly sure of why this happened to him or happened at all. Then, at the end, he finds out there's a plan behind it (man in black wants him to fight against the Supervisor) and at the very end he is out of the game. Only by playing the 2nd part of the game he can find out what's next. And only in the "next" part he can decide what to do with all the loved ones.

And during the last years I realized that these fans not only they are very dedicated but they're actually very mature, well organized and intelligent + most of them being 30 + they bring financial support & can't be fooled. This is a heavy combo.
But the truth is, that for a person like DD there couldn't have been better fans. We usually follow the one who represents our values and can speak in our name. The one we admire and understand the most.
Season 2 can't be anything less than a true success. The whole team was great and blended perfectly. Now DD has to make a choice. So do the others. I am sure that no matter what happens they will make the choice that suits them the most. Don't forget it's an industry. Serious business is going around there.
No matter what, I will understand DD's decision. After all, I'm here just for him. He doesn't need people to paint him as a victim, even if the whole world is after him. He is strong and he needs strong support. More so, he is not alone. He was noticed heavily by those talents in the industry that have a separate strong voice. And they will work with him regardless. This, right here and right now, represents the point where the industry will be divided into 2. The oldies and the visionaries.
Why it counts more than the other times they tried ? Because DD's commercial value had skyrocketed. And this is a game changer.
