Win's controversy, using the abuse hand signal like a TikTok trend, got him a lot of backlash. He (along with other artists who were involved) has already issued an apology and promised to do better, and to learn from this experience. Unlike Justin, he has been with the company for six years, has built an extensive network, and has brought in millions in sponsorships and ambassadorships for the company. Also, unlike Justin, he didn't spend 3 years posting racist/homophobic/misogynistic posts on his social media. Like Justin, he is well aware of the rules and regulations of the company, and unlike Justin, he doesn't intentionally break them.

Pawin's domestic violence controversy has already cancelled him. He may still be with the company, but he has been suspended. Unless you count that tiny role in Memoirs of Rati, he hasn't been working much. Basically, he's a sitting duck until his contract expires. In some ways, his punishment is worse than Justin's. At least Justin still has a chance to sign with another company. Pawin, on the other hand, is wasting away his career in a company that's not giving him any work.

Currently, there are two Proms in GMMTV. I don't know anything about the Prom who was on Project Alpha, but Prom Teepakron didn't get away with the disgusting things he said back in 2023. Whether or not he can still have a career remains a question mark. But unlike Justin, he doesn't have three year's worth of racist/homophobic/misogynistic posts on his social media, so as long as he behaves and not cause any more scandals, he might still has a chance to keep his roles on Weirdo-101 and Gansters & Lovers (though I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get much screen time). Though from the looks of it, it'll be a long while before the company would consider giving him a major role.

Keeping an artist on board after a controversy doesn't mean they got away with what they did. They're suffering the consequences, but you'll rarely hear about it. If that's your excuse for bashing on GMMTV, I'd say your argument is pretty weak. Though based on your posts, it's obvious you want Justin to stay in this company so he'll be surrounded by all of these racists/homophobes/misogynists.

Welcome to the reality of the entertainment industry. GMMTV is a business, not a charity, and definitely not a reform school. They didn't force Justin to sign the contract. Justin signed it knowing full well the terms and conditions of his contract, as well as the rules and regulations of the company, and he broke them anyway. Instead of making them money, he cost them money by being a racist/homophobe/misogynist. GMMTV didn't cancel him. Justin cancelled himself. Instead of blaming the company for firing him, he needs to take responsibility for his own actions.

Justin is half-Scottish, and he attended an international school, so it's likely his primary language is English. That seems to be the case with a number of GMMTV artists who attended international schools. I remember Phuwin, who attended international school most of his life, spoke of struggling to learn Thai. The same was with Gemini, who has trouble reading Thai.

A little counseling? If the reports online are true, then he has been posting/reposting these things for almost three years. He needs some serious therapy, and his parents need to take some parenting classes.

What Americans do in America is their business. What Justin does in GMMTV is the GMMTV's business. By your logic, now that Justin has been let go by the company, he can continue to be a racist/homophobe/misogynist all he wants.

GMMTV is only ONE company in a single country. If Justin really wants to work in the entertainment industry, there are opportunities everywhere, not just Thailand. He's still young, so he should work on himself first before trying again. Btw, we're not talknig about SOME online comments. That means he has been doing it since he was 12, and he's still doing even after he signed with the company. If he's going to disrespect the company by not following the terms of his contract, then there's no reason for them to keep him on board. GMMTV didn't ruin his career. Justin ruined his own career.

Chances are, Justin breached one or more terms in his contract, which is why GMMTV is able to cut him loose so quickly. The reports didn't mention this, but he might also need to pay a fine for the contract breach.

I haven't seen or heard any of what Ionera said either. I remember there were a lot of "he said, she said," but the majority of the netizens seemed to have sided with her. I believe the whole thing ended with a settlement, but it looks like Pawin's career isn't going to recover anytime soon. Looks like GMMTV is going to bench him until his contract expires.

You do know that 90% of the BL actors are straight, right? Also, GMMTV didn't destroy anyone. They simply ran a risk assessment and decided it's better to let Justin go rather than clean up his mess for him. It's natural for companies to protect their reputation and interests first. After all, 100+ artists and staff's livelihoods depend on them. If Justin's career is destroyed because of this then he probably doesn't have much of a career to begin with.

As for Keaton, as long as he keeps his record clean, and as long as he shows GMMTV he can contribute to the company, he'll be fine.

By the way, that half of America you mentioned, the ones who voted for Trump? They're not signed with GMMTV. So naturally, the company doesn't give a shit what they do or who they hate. But if you're signed with them, and your beliefs and values cost them money in PR damages, then it's a problem.

It's a first, but from what I've read, there are a few factors that led to this decision.

1) This isn't a one-time thing. He post/repost a lot of hateful, racist, homophobic and misogynistic things. Last I checked, I believe there are 10 posts that netizens found (so far). To make things worse, he has reportedly been doing this even AFTER he signed with GMMTV. That's not just damaging to his career, but to the company's reputation as well.

2) I saw screenshots of what he posted/reposted, and honestly, I'm disturbed. They're not things a 15-year-old should post. The fact that he posted not one, but many of them shows he isn't immature or ignorant. He knew what he was doing. That's why many netizens have trouble accepting his apology.

3) He just signed with GMMTV a few months ago. Unlike most of the veteran artists who have raked in thousands and even millions in revenues, sponsorships and ambassadorships for the company, he has yet to contribute anything to the company. Worse, he's costing the company money before he even starts making them money. Any company would see that it's better to cut him loose than keep him on board. It's heartless, but this is business. GMMTV is not about to sacrifice the livelihoods of their artists and staff for the sake of one teenage boy.

This is a setback for Justin, but it doesn't mean his career is over. He just has a lot of learning and growing up to do. The fact that this happened is a sign that he isn't ready to work in the entertainment industry. Hopefully, he has learned a lesson in all this, and would strive to be a better person from now on.

After all, he's supposed to make money for the company, not make the company lose money to clean up his mess. Plus, if GMMTV keeps him, then they're telling the world they're okay with what he did. If he truly regrets his actions, he'd take some time off to reflect on what it really means to be a public figure. He's young. He has time to learn and grow before giving the entertainment industry another try.

Probably not, but if Justin truly regrets his action and changes for the better, then he should have a shot at a comeback. After all, he's only 15.
