i dropped this in the first episode but idk should i pick it up again? is it good?
Imo, i think the trailer was a bit misleading. There's actually less comedic moments, and more angst than I anticipated. It definitely is one of those shows that gets better as the storyline progresses. It started out with Botpleng wanted to recover his memories and learn about his past, and things get pretty complicated from there.
I had to rewatch the episodes to get a better hang of the storyline because there seems to be one plot twist after another. So Pleng's first love is actually Thunphob, but he has been masquerading as Tankhun, and somewhere along the line, Thunphob died, and Pleng lost his memories in an accident. So, now they're trying to investigate how Thunphob died? If that's the case... what about the two bodies? And why is the grandmother so hellbent on keeping Pleng from investigating his past? Is there some kind of feud between Pleng's and Thunphob's families?
It doesn't matter what series get put out by any agency, it's always people complaining 🙄 It's not their job…
And it's only two episodes in, so there's hardly anything one can complain about (for now). Plus, this is on Netflix, so given the amount of people complaining about it not being free, I wouldn't be surprised if they watched it on a pirated site. Like, you watched it illegally, then have the audacity to complain about it? How dumb can you be? *smh
Y'all complain about every series they put out just be quiet
Just ignore this fool. They just go about everywhere dropping their opinions and called them facts, then tried to make themselves look legit because they're supposedly an expert in their field. Film major? Not bloody likely. It's stupid, really, especially when you look at their username and realize it's just another fake account. They're too cowardly to use their actual account to state "facts."
It's too bad Tar got killed off so early in the series. Aungpao has shown some good acting here, totally different from his roles in Cooking Crush and Perfect 10 Liners.

Yeah, that part is a tad confusing. However, in the novel, because of the nature of the family business, Thee, Rome and Mhok all grew up learning various languages.

It's not impossible for Pond to pass off as Thee because according to the novel descriptions, he takes after his mother. However, if GMMTV plans to adapt Calm Down, Mr. Rome, then it also makes sense to change the ethnicitiy for both brothers since in the novel, Rome looks more Russian than Thai, and I honestly cannot imagine William with bleached hair.
Question: I'm a little confused here. I've heard Thee be accused of having "not very good Thai," from…
In the novel, Thee's father is Russian, and his mother is Thai. He grew up in Russia, but his mother wanted him and his brother to know her side of their heritage, so she'd make them watch her old movies and lakorns. That's why he talks like a movie character. The show probably changed that due to political reasons (with the ongoing Russian/Ukrainian war and all that).
where can i watch this series? is it not on gmmtv youtube channel?
It's mentioned in the trailer. Cut version is on GMM25, and uncut version is on Netflix. My guess is they'll upload it onto YT after the entire series is out.
This series is off to a decent start. There are some areas where I'm like "huh" and "no way this happens irl," but it's only the first episode, so I'm gonna wait and see what happens. It did give me THK vibes, only instead of Dunk chasing after Joong, it's the other way around.
In Me and Thee? None.In Calm Down, Mr. Rome? There are a few...
There are two novels. Me and Thee is focused on Thee and Peach, and Calm Down, Mr. Rome is focused on Rome and Mhok. Only Me and Thee has been adapted into a series. There's nothing about whether GMMTV will adapt the second novel, too.
Thee: Are you complimenting another man in front of me?
I can't even... ROFL!!!
