On Zhan Zhao Adventures May 23, 2026
I'm on episode 22 now, and the level of patience and maturity Zhan Zhao has when dealing with Bai Yutang (and in general honestly) is so incredible. I'm absolutely loving their dynamic and how different both of their personalities are.

I think the lack of romance (and love triangles thankfully) really helps explore the depth of the bonds between the three leads which I find very refreshing.

Why did Lu wuyi made Ji ling forget about her when they first met?
She thought Ji Ling was just a human at that time while she was a fox demon, so she probably didn't want to leave any traces behind or Ji Ling to try to find her later.

While I do think the word 'haters' gets thrown around a lot, it's undeniable that some haters do exist on MDL. You are not a hater for disliking a drama or an actor or even expressing it, but you are one if you go out of your way to unnecessarily and actively spread hate toward them. The word also includes people who mass down rate dramas they didn't even watch.

Drama ratings have always been subjective, what is a 10/10 to someone, will not be the same for you and vice versa. If someone rated a drama 10/10, it doesn't mean that the drama itself is perfection but that they enjoyed the drama to their maximum level of enjoyment. As such, what dramas you watch and how many you truly enjoyed is totally irrelevant to another watcher. If they liked it for whatever reason, it's a 10/10 for them even if it's 2/10 to you, so there's nothing to be honest or dishonest about it.

Yes, they'll show how CW and WWY knew each other later. CW's character is very layered, so his motives seem to keep changing every time something new is revealed about him, but it eventually makes sense why he did all that.

HELP! This is SO GREAT and really fun and all but it's confusing tf out of me.Can someone please explain, or direct…
Having questions is part of the watching experience 😭 But despite the confusion, you're pretty caught up with the events till ep 15 honestly.

Lu Wuyi keeps getting possessed by Jiu Ying from that time inside the illusion (1000 years ago) Here, they'll basically show JY's origin story.

Yes, the one who massacred Wu Shiguang's clan was JY (from that time) who possessed WWY.

You are not supposed to get Li Jie's story yet, they'll explain his relationship with the butterfly demon later. But what's happening there is that the brothers at that time (who were humans from Shilin Sect) disguised themselves as demons to steal the stone to prevent it from being used by WZQ in the war against humans. In the illusion, YWH and LJ will need Tiandi to turn into the stone so that they can use it to get out of the illusion.

It's okay, VoS is probably just not your cup of tea since most of us who loved this drama was pretty much hooked…
You're welcome. Yeah, I feel bad too, the number of pending dramas he has is ridiculous. Hopefully they'll get released soon, I'm still holding out hope for Hidden Shadow to be released sometime this year.

It's okay, VoS is probably just not your cup of tea since most of us who loved this drama was pretty much hooked from the start. If you're still struggling at ep 24/25, I don't think it's going to get any better for you and it's safe to drop if you want. Though I assume you probably didn't get much of the plot if you skipped that much as this drama does require a lot of attention to details.

Yes, it's an original script and since GJM has a distinct style and also reused some aspects and cast from his previous works, his dramas are understandably similar. Hidden Shadow will probably be a bit different (if the drama ever manages be unhidden) as it's based on a novel and has a co-director.

It is relatively a major spoiler. I can tell you if you want but if you keep watching, they'll explain it later.
No, you're not. This drama thrives on confusion and is part of its charm honestly, so don't worry if you feel confused. All of us were collectively confused when the drama was airing lol.

Good part is most of the questions you have now will be answered eventually but by that time, there will be new questions 😭 If you need help to understand anything, just ask here and I'm pretty sure someone will have the answers since many of the old viewers are still here because we can't move on 😂

As for the ending, the Ji Ling you see is the Ji Ling who time-travels, and LWY is most likely the LWY who was…
Also shouldn't there be two JLs at the point when JL went back and took LWY out?

JL from the og timeline went back 50 years and took LWY out and they went to an alternate timeline but another JL should've still existed in that timeline because the events with YHW and JL happened 150 years ago. So unless that JL died when he tried to kill himself, he should've still been around to meet LJ.

Honestly, my personal theory is that Ji Ling existed in that timeline too and died to stop the drought like he planned so pretty much everything would have followed the same sequence minus LWY. I do not think JL would have died when he tried to kill himself even without LWY. Also LJ would have known JL but the reason he didn't know the reason of his existence at the end is because YWH never told LJ about it in this timeline.

He was probably reborn too but after he figured Jiling had already died, the obsession no longer existed, and he most likely moved on too like what happened in the actual timeline.

Well it has been established that the Prime Minister is evil. So the solution is to replace the monarchy with…
I might be wrong, but the PM came from a noble family, his father was also a PM and he had other nobles backing him so maybe he wasn't fully democratically elected (?). Maybe the idea was to abolish the noble system and establish an effective democratic system.

Personally, I think a lot of things could've been better about the final arc, but the abolishment of the monarchy wasn't one of them and actually made sense to me. I know most people probably didn't like it but my two cents on why it was the right course of action.

The monarchy in Perfect Crown wasn't just ceremonial, but it also enabled the noble status and divided the population into a caste system. Huiju despite being from the richest family faced discriminations for not being a noble, imagine how worse it would be for the actual 'commoners'. The king and the people direct in line for the crown held no actual power and couldn't get involved in politics or business so even if I-An had stayed as the King, there wasn't a lot he could do for the country and the people because he was shackled by his court. The nobles and the other royal relatives on the other hand had no restrictions regarding not getting involved and practically held the country hostage with all their status and connections. The web was centuries old and couldn't have been broken by the King or the people. By abolishing the monarchy, I-An basically gave the country a somewhat clean slate to do what the people wanted.

Now I-An could have stayed the King and tried to do something (he certainly would have had more power than being jobless and doing nothing) but that was not the life he wanted. He had been scrutinized and had been burdened all his life, now he wanted freedom and rest and to live a normal life. He was overworked and deserved to rest for 3 years or 5 years whatever he felt like and then he will probably get back and do something meaningful with his life.

This is just my personal opinion and understanding, feel free to correct me if I got something wrong.
