That old woman has some serious nerve...like how vain do you have to be to think that she can just stroll in with a knife and can actually manage to kill her??
glad I dropped it at 15, couldn't move past the absolute absurdity that episode 15 was..didn't have it in me to…
Not sure exactly where you stopped but just saying that the whole ZZ BYT cliff fight was an act and it was revealed within like the next 5 minutes after ZZ fell.
itβs a pity that many ppl dropped the drama so early on coz I kept watching, and from I think Ep 20 onwards(or…
I agree! I liked the first arc but started to really love this drama from the second arc, everything just became so much better for me from that point.
Not even 4 episodes in and Ye Li just casually caused a dude to be buried alive and another to be burned on the palace ground π Like damn girl is not to be messed with!
Hey, can anyone explain what was original plan of chi wen when he asked yuan wuhuo to swallow the dragon scale…
Chi Wen's initial plan was to trap Jiu Ying in his own body and soul-jump into Yuan Wuhuo's body (swallowing the dragon scale made YWH's body compatible with CW's soul) to kill Chi Wen's original body along with Jiu Ying in it due to only a dragon can kill a dragon thingy and at that time, CW was the only remaining Dragon.
CW chose YWH since he was already dying but after Ji Ling swallowed the dragon scale, CW didn't want to take over his body to let JL live. He also figured if CW's soul left his original body, JY would take over and the plan wouldn't most likely work so they devised the whole 10th dragon and the 100 years plan to defeat JY.
The package has definitely seen better days lol. I cracked up every time he said that it should be handled with care while proceeding to not handling it with care π€£π€£
I don't see how Zhan Zhao could've shot that arrow from that close distance while swinging a sword. So, I think it's most likely that somehow some mechanism in the tower got triggered and the arrow shot itself like earlier or Bai Yutang shot it. I wish they gave a little more hint to clarify what actually happened.
i love how wrong the entire synopsis is. The first 4 episodes misleads us. But then we find out the characters…
I think understanding the concept of painted skin which influenced this story really helps to understand why the characters are so complicated to the point they seem to be changing motives every few episodes. The point of the story is to continuously peel layers off the characters to reveal their actual faces.
The synopsis is misleading, but it just takes us where the story starts cuz honestly, there's no way to write an actual synopsis without giving like a hundred spoilers. So as viewers, we are kind of left blind, navigating the story with bits of information that they throw at us. It's complicated and confusing, yes but I also felt it was immensely rewarding when we finally understood what's happening. So, it just boils down to whether you can keep up with the story or if you simply vibe with this drama or not.

As for the rating of this drama, it did go up from 7.7 to 7.9, so I'm kind of hoping it'll increase a bit more.
