If the men were alive the dynamic in the series would be different. The women would then of course have no say.…
They cause too much conflict anyways. I too mostly kill the parents in my books. Saves me so much trouble. If they put in fathers then it would have so much unnecessary trouble. Their pride, their conflicts, their strictness. It’s troublesome. Plus then they would not let the woman shine since they’ll handle the businesses, oh and they won’t accept a family of only women. Finally, it gives you a very emotional arc to characters. Killing a parent in a story never has negative cosequesnces.
This is awesome! Funny, good, great, cool, amazing, unique, never been done before, phenomenal, inspirational, beloved, loved, charming, precious, diamond, sapphire, gemstone, my love, my life, my soul, my thoughts, this is just everything.
I am officially a member of the son-in-law alliance supporters. I love them so much in this episode that I can’t explain. Chai An and FLH both are fully devoted and now DYX joined in full. I also love how he stood strong and believed his wife instead of a random scoundrel on the streets. It’s really rare to find this level of faith in a C-drama.
I have watched only until ep 7 but from reading the comments here, it looks like the 1st sister's love interest…
I don’t know, if they just make it right like in the next episode, he is salvageable. He isn’t a jerk, not a hopeless crybaby, we just need to cut his pride and he can shine. Now, cross your finger, and pray that they do this right.
The sudden change when du yangxi saw his wife is kinda ehh..
It made sense though, he thought the one who treated him was the 3rd daughter, Kangning, hence his fixation, but when he realised is was ShouHua, he realised the one he liked, the one who painted, the one who wrote couplets and the one who treated him was her all along not Kangning. But yeah, they could’ve explained it rather than that one scene…
Episode 11: The show promotes itself as a light-hearted comedy types, but I'd like to see a little bit more depth…
I mean, he has plenty of chances to apologise. He is just too proud. Two son-in-laws have already been grounded. Time for the third, I guess. I think by end of maybe ep 15 he will join the knowtowing group of son-in-laws
I love women ruling their husbands. Like wow three day into marriage and all three son-in-laws have submitted themselves to their wives. Even Du YangXi just took one look at her and was like, yeah, that’s the one. Hehe. I also love how Chai An was kicked out by Kangning. Fan Liang said he even knowtowed 🤣🤣🤌🤌. All that is left is the third son in law to knowtow and submit to his wife. (Though I do like that he trusted his wife instead of a raandom stranger. We know he was lying. It’s as obvious as day.)
Okay, I loved how they added the povs, but I wish instead of the arab travel being Chai An's scheme, he was really heartbroken and leaving. I mean. I don't know why they said it was his scheme. To show he was smart? I feel that.
I don’t understand what “pov” means. So far I am watching episode 6. Still enjoying this series, although…
I mainly mean the FL's side of story. Like in the last two episode that for me were 7-8 were so... blank. Like things were happening but why they were happening was all like a blur. Wasn't ML mad? Why is he purusing her again? Didn't the FL like the ML? Why is she so emotionless now? Like I see no spark. I see nothing. The story is progressing but it is like due to so many elements and things we are not focusing on the characters. That's what I meant by lack of pov. I hope I cleared that up. I am really bad at expressing so tell me if I went the wrong way.
