I feed on long comments, don't hesitate to write essays if you have the time and enegy XD I actually heard good reviews of the japanese version. Hana Yori Dango is very good, actually I watched hana yori before i watched BBF. Oh, I agree about the actor but I couldn't take the humour for some reason. I will need to give it another go someday but I need to watch other his dramas since I agree that he;s git the acting chops. I have Uthaime ion my PTW lists, sounds interesting. Which if the summer dramas are you liking best so far?

In the sense that it's not just some fluffy romance (Take Care of Us Captain is in turn and it's REALLY bad) rather the drama shows love as a factor in their lives.

I have rewatched this drama again and upped its rating. I have watched it many times now and it doesn't get old. The more I watch it the more I appreciate the nuances of quirkiness between Shibasaki and Kimutaku and the silient sufferings of the other two characters, plus I love more and more Koda and shinkai and how they both learn from one another.

You hate romance, fair enough. But why does her job annoy you? It's an interesting occupation for a female, for one and for the second it has undelrying motivation and she is trying to be strong. And romance here is just a side dish anyway, so what she ends up with Shinkai, good for both of them, besides it stands for hopeful beginnings more than anything else in this case.

Seems like Boys over Flowers was a first drama for a lot of people but I since recovered from its effect, especially because I have a low tolerance for Lee Min Ho and the lead actress from there. I think the japanese version was better. So how are you liking my boss my hero?

It is rather more standard fare that it is not, however the story is a sweeping ride. Watch salaryman forst to get a better sense of what to expect from Giant. Giant is still one of my favourite dramas, however as I've really grown to care for the characters, especially the eldest brother.

It's been several months now, I gained some distance to the drama and I am preparing a review. I'd say as far as revenge dramas go, this is one to watch. The casting is fantastic, however the drama I feel from retrospect, could have been told in 40 episodes without the extra filler material which can make you feel it is a bit draggy. For anyone who enjoys sibling themes, this is also a good drama. But do expect some predictability. However, it contains a woman who grows to be strong/confident/clever buisness woman and is NOT presented as a total witch, which is a plus. It is a 8 drama but I gave it a 9 because of my bias for theme and cast. This is the core of my review in the making. Much as I like Lee Bum soo, he does tend to overact at times. So it depends whether he will fit your preferred style or not. But the kid actor for Lee Gangmo is really one skilled young guy.

Agreed. I tried to like it at firstbut in the end I just pitied Ji Jin Hee such a role. The drama is really contrived and one of the worst I've seen. Good luck! simply doesn't compare- it's so much better. At first I hestitated between giving it a 6 and a 5. In the end gave this drama a 4,5 in the end, but lowered it to 4, but this drama just...the only good thing was probably Ji Jin Hee, who is an able acgtor, but somehow gets roles that do not give him a lot of stage for showing that.

I agree the drama IS overrated. Much as I enjoyed it myself I ultimately gave this drama a 7, because I definitely had problems with the story, its characters and the way some things just weren't let go off until the last minute. However, it is mostly enjoyable gender bender. I did like Oska a lot, however and the director was a neat character. However, I had problems with the story on the whole. And I consider the drama now to be overrated, even though I did enjoyy it overall. It's just..not my style, in a sense.
