See you;re watvhing Goong S, I really liked it; it was a creative spin and added much more depth; I hope you will end up liking it a bit more; I think it really suffers from comparing it to Goong. Anyway, have a wonderful day!

Oh yes, I have seen the latest JA and I liked the atmosphere and cinematography a lot; it was dark and ominous and powerful and it was the focus of this adaptation, creating these emotions. I thought Wasikowska was a great Jane and she is one of the ferw actresses who are actually the right age to play Jane, she came ut very strong in the adaptions. I read the book like 5 years ago last time, however, so it needs refreshing, but i really liked this adaption, camera work, light were really really good. The script condenses the story but stays true and Dame Judi Dench makes an appearance too, as Ms Fairfax.

And I see about the BA/MA thing. It's actually become something similar here nowadays. The university education system in Poland has also changed these days; it used to be straight 5 years to MA with nothing in between, but admittedly nowadays they are more into the 3+2 system: you do BA after three years and you technically are finished so you can even do the MA in another university.

Yes, I know, I have some gripes with adaptations sometimes too. But sometimes they are very dialogic with the short story on which they are based. For instance, Swept from the sea with Rachel Weisz and Vincent perez, based on Conrad;s short story "Amy Foster" is pretty much dialogic, because the film;s director, Beebdan Kidron is a woman and she is responding, in a sense, to Conrad's representation of Amy. She focuses in on the love story; it;s a different text from Conrad's and it;s very interesting to see it. There are quie a few time travel Japan dramas, another one is Long Love Letter but I guess Jdramas may siometimes be acquired taste too. oh, I see. It works different in Poland and it certainly works differently in the UK, given UK has a system in which you can also do the so called MPhil, which is probably useful.

I also like how the two brothers aren't rivals for a change, and Ma Roo is a really good character, just lost and caught up in the past and a grea sense of blame and shame. And I just love the Wo Ri's father, he;s adorable! I also loved her deaf mother, she was just beautiful and so warm. The characters arew really really lovable and it has pulled me right in, I love such dramas.

Well, maybe you just aren't a Japanese person, if Korean works best for you then that's it, no need to force anythiong either. I'm glad you;re liking the JJW, though if I had one gripe with it is that ending was too abrupt and rushed after all the great story it had throughout, you'll see. I in turn have started watching "Can you hear my heart" and I can;t seem to be able to put it away. It's a wonderful story...just that Granny's daughter figure is so pathetic in the way she clings to Ma Roo's father. My goodness...I really love it. And I think this is what makes the drama interesting, but I'm finding it pretty well-balanced. Really like the main leads and Ma Roo and the father and it;s a really good drama with regards to attitude towards those disabilities and I'm getting a great sense of honour and loyalty, the drama si right up my alley given the family relationships it portrays

I'd like that :-) I will as well, if I find out anything. I see you liked Jade Palace lock heart. It was like Hana Yori Dango in ancient china. The cast was lovable and I am really fond of Feng Shao Feng and Yang Mi. looks like they;re going to have a second season, though I was quite happy with the ending of the previous one. The drama was flawed and had a lot of chessey moments and goofs that indicated some negligence but Yang Mi and Feng Shao Feng were good together.

hmm to studia jÄ?zykowe zatem w planach? Japonistyka moze? A moze wybierasz siÄ? zdawaÄ?

Drama with all the standard, pleasing elements, a typical idol drama Pop music, love triangles, idols, evil witches, cross dressing. But it was better than similar out there, it had it's funny moments. Jang Geun Sook is a fine actor as is Park Shin Hye. I liked them.and found their bickering enjoyable, they worked well.
