Episode four - thank you for continuing with the subs. This is a great show up to this point. It’s not an easy story to tell or portray. Some people are like rabbits trapped in the headlights of their lives and find it difficult to express how they feel.

Well, here I am at the end of episode three and the party has continued! The leads are great, the bad guys are fabulous and the lawless firm gang are a hoot (think Meerkats or the Penguins of Madagascar).

What a cracking ride! Two episodes in and we have a rip snorter of a show. As everyone is saying: strap yourself in and enjoy - it’s going to be a lot of fun (I love the guys in the Hawaiian shirts).

This is one of those dramas that the Japanese do extremely well. It’s full of heart and is uplifting.

Not sure, but I noticed that another two episodes were quickly subbed today and I watched those this afternoon - so I have completed 20 episodes. My list shows 24 episodes in total. I had a quick look elsewhere and other sites are showing the same.

With 4 episodes to go, it is building up to a big finish!

I didn’t like the Japanese version in the end, which is unusual for me. However, I am enjoying the direction Rich Man is heading including what unfolds in episode 4.

Beautiful in every sense of the word. My Mister moves into my top three dramas of all time, alongside Deadwood and Game of Thrones.

I think it’s very different to Suspicious Partner and so far it is better than Sign (2011) which was pretty good. Some of the forensic elements are more in keeping with this really great British shows: Silent Witness and the Talking Dead.

I think Jung Yoo Mi is great. I don’t have a problem with her “gut instinct”. At times it’s quite valid. I spend a lot of time with people (including very experienced ones) showing them how to move on from a gut instinct to achieving an open mind. Then there are times when I say to them “what does your gut tell you?”.

I also like Jung Jae Young as a character, and I am sure he well pass on more effectively in time how Yoo Mi can achieve a more informed mind set. He needs to wear some of the Disney Grumpy tee shirts I have that say “I’m grumpy - don’t make it worse!”

After six episodes, it gets a big thumbs up from me. There is mystery, history, sci-fi and fantasy, romance and mirth.

This is the first drama in a long time where I have wanted to see more of the back story including when our lead pair were young. Those scenes have been done so well.

I only managed three episodes, which is unfortunate because there is a lot going for this lakorn. As so many have pointed out: Yaya as Jee is fabulous. Much of the acting by the other cast members is very good, some of the scenes are excellent, but I found the story unconvincing and very frustrating. Every time I became engaged, Sathit’s scenes undid much of what I was starting to find interesting. Mark didn’t do a bad job as Sathit, I just thought the character wasn’t quite right. I also thought Piak was okay and I didn’t mind her being over the top. And yes, Suki’s as Jee’s manager is very good.

This show is full on entertainment and JGS is excellent. He plays both roles so well that it is hard to pick when he “switches”. Also, Han Ye Ri is fabulous - a great performance. In fact, it’s hard to fault anyone in this show. Enjoy the ride.

A nice movie with a beautiful ending. It’s not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

A brilliant start (but not easy watching at times). So much is packed into each half hour you wonder why with other shows you need to watch anything longer that.

I am enjoying this so much more than the Japanese original (which I stopped watching halfway through).

That being said, I did find the first episode was so so and thought about dropping it. However, despite knowing what would happen next, I decided to watch episode two and thoroughly enjoyed it. The slight differences here and there to the original made it a much better experience for me.

To Love, To Heal is worth a look. At the 20 episode mark, I found myself wanting to continue on. I’m already at the end of episode 28.

What I like is that Shui Guang is taking her time to sort things out. And her character is played very well. What I haven’t liked so much is Zheng Lan’s character. When he is himself - he is a great character, but when the story calls for him to force himself into Shui Guang’s life, I find that irritating. I know it’s done to show the contrast between the two, but his character deserves better than this. Every now and then you see a very subtle moment between our lead pair and they are well done.

Although the usual tropes are in play, some of them are dealt with in an even handed way, and I like that. The side characters are all good and do add other dimensions to the show, although I could imagine that some viewers would have an issue re whether they are really needed or not.

The theme songs are terrific.

My only real issue is Cha Kyung Soo’s character. It is just too needy (and immature?) for me. However, I found the “lovesick” scene in the hospital quite humorous and maybe his character will change from there.

I really enjoyed episode 17. A lot happened and most of the relationships progressed. For me, this is one of the more clever dramas regarding how all the families and their various relationships are entwined. There are some fine performances overall and you can’t beat the old hands when it comes to acting.

Episode 13: breathtaking
