Ahn Soo Ho/Stephen and Oh Beom Seok/Bryce as main characters ... Will Season 1 be an extended prequel about the backstory of the main lead in middle school?
I don't understand JHK's goodwill towards ki jun at all. Not even a little bit. She kept calling him a good person,…
Cheating on someone, especially when it is an outright affair, is not a mistake though. It is a deliberate conscious choice, a sign of selfishness and lack of character. And statistically cheaters rarely change because they don't actually regret doing it, they regret being caught.
And even if their partners/victims forgive them, they will never fully trust them again even if they try. They will always doubt and second guess subconsciously if not outright. And it causes them to have trust issues with future partners too. Being cheated on is like a wound that scars, it is always there.
So, yes we will never agree on this issue. And I am aware that there are a lot of cheaters out there and the naive people who forgive them (often again and again). But most aren't as proud of being part of this group as you seem to be. Or think it is a sign of maturity. To each their own I guess.

I beg to differ. There is no way those two could be friends in real life unless the cheated-on party was a complete idiot or a doormat. He cheated on HK after a 10-year relationship less than a month before their wedding.... and to add insult to injury he did not even have the decency to break up with her, she had to catch them in bed together. And he went to marry the mistress on pretty much the same date. No normal person gets over such humilation and hurt that quickly or ever. So being professional at work while having no personal contact outside of work would be the best outcome for mature adults (with a spine). But it is absolutely ludicrous that she is giving him relationship advice.
And claiming he is a good person LOL If he is faithful and a good father maybe he could be a good person one day. But it has been less than a year since he won Scumbag of the Year and as the saying goes; once a cheater always a cheater. And in the show timeline he has acted somewhat "mature" for maybe a month or so (since the Jeju trip).
I am happy that we will get a season 2. But it seems rather strange that they are recasting the main characters. Especially Song Kang when he was part of the cliffhanger.
How would you have made the ending like? There wasn't any way to get out of the ending that we got to be honest,…
I disagree. The soul did not take over. The way it was presented the male soul just got her memories (and feelings) while SY took a sleep in the subconscious. In the last half of episode 20 you can see what SY is like and she was never shown before (just in flashbacks). It should have been more like Jekyll and Hyde where you could tell which soul is currently in control. And the actress is so good she could have pulled it off flawlessly.

Well, they could have gone 2 ways: 1) stay true to the novel ending where the male soul stays and they end up together or 2) actually show SY take over the body here and there during the previous 19 episodes (like Oh my ghostess). That way this ending would be great as we would have been rooting for SY and she would deserve a happy end as she actively participated in achieving it. And the king (and the maids, royal chef) should have known that Bong soul existed and at least grieve a bit after he left.
Thank you. I'll try to get over it and pretend the last episode doesn't exist, but am feeling pretty devastated…
The biggest tragedy is that in the novel both dramas are based on the male soul stays in the past and has a true happy end with the king. They have several kids and the kind refuses to sleep with anyone but Mr.Queen.
This would've been a much better drama. Maybe not a 50 or 60 episode drama but long enough to build the relationships…
I just watched it and she said she became immortal by eating the mermaid flesh. Then she says she lived several lives as a singer, maid, nun and a maiden chosen as the empress. And only then did she become the vessel for the snake. So it makes no sense she would stop being immortal when the snake went out of her...
Well, count me as one of the many people who are *really* disappointed by the way this ended. And no, I don't…
Yeah, it's like they replaced one half of the OTP with a twin but it does not matter since they look the same. Who cares about their different personalities. The ML sure doesn't. How romantic. Ugh.

I cannot believe we now have 2 drama adaptations but both screwed up the ending.
And still both dramas chose to screw it up. :(
Here is a synopsis. Enjoy.
