Story wise, this drama is actually so good eh! So good that I didn't mind with the detail inconsistencies. I want to watch it yesterday but still a bit busy. I just finished it a second ago and ððð good one!
She's not the only one with the story. BMW heiress Susanne Klatten also have same story. Meet the now ex-husband when doing internship without telling the guy her true identity, ended up married for quite long and divorce in 2018
Not all bad, it's just Asian filial piety to the finest! Where as Asian child with stubborn self love myself, it's torturing ð I love NaiNai character the most. She understand the value of herself. The rest, im not sure, just so-so while tortured at least once each episode ðððŧ
She will become a good after episode 28... She is also going to have a good character growth.
Of course, except the writer has lost some screw ð but I do wonder how smooth her character development will be, I just hope there nothing like ridiculousness in it ððŧððŧððŧ
Still in episode 6, Whoaa Cheng Huan de MaMa is the worst!!! Seems like a very stereotypical Asian mother, but let me tell you not even the strictest mothers I know in my life are as bad as her ð My cousin has that prideful mom too (a.k.a my aunt), I thought she was materialistic enough but Cheng Guan's mom came even worse! Materialism is one thing, being morally defective is another. The fact that she turned out okay with XJL just because his family is rich still understandable. But even after such an insult she still insisted her dearest daughter marry such a family without worrying how would that family mistreat her daughter and even as far as went to find the granny that they had left in hospice without any contact for almost a decade asking for money for things she couldn't afford is bizarre!!! And none! No one in her family, not even the father holds her leash. Yet somehow, in the end, she would be transformed into this 'understanding' and warm mother. Ridiculous! Even more ridiculous none of her children grew up with seemingly childhood trauma ðĪĢ because, in real life, it's rare!
It's been four years and I still feel annoyed how justice never been served for our lovely boy Han Ji Pyung! ðĪ nobody but the granny deserves his kindness lol ð
LQS reminds me of that annoying cowardly villain with tons of luck in old tropes story ðŠ the one that somehow survives and keeps causing chaos until five minutes before the ending ð
Why I saw a glimpse of the past when I courted into JW after graduating HS and waiting for the University admission on the way Shen Tunan get toured around the town ððð It's too perfect almost sounds like a scam ð
It was okay at the start but, Chun behaving like a guard dog all the time, forcing Ruo to join the other party…
Character-wise, it's reasonable for her to act rashly the way she did. Her character background depicted her came from this communist born center. Where almost all people she knew were communist. She just came to Shanghai and witness the atrocities of Koumintang. The people she knew died and it's not like she had have a high formal education like Ruolai and Jin Zhen. For her Communist is the hero, the protagonist, and the answer. Whereas Koumintang is the villain. So, it's understandable if she couldn't grasp Ruolai dilemma. She had no faith over Koumintang to begin with but Ruolai has and its deep! Yet the situation is quite hectic. Ruolai simply have no privilege to think and trapped in dilemma. We are in war here! So although she personally annoying, but her character is well taught. Except the awkward cries in the end, I need to watched more tonight ð
