Depends...what other danmeis have you read? For me, since I started with 2ha and TGCF, NanChan is probably not as great as those two. Also, it is very 'xianxia', it took me quite sometime to understand the whole terms and world...e.g. literally even snow and stone are alive 😅 But I think the main plot is interesting, but I feel like I got a mixed translation version, so I kinda lost in a few parts... But just try it, it is 'only' 129 chapters anyway...haha
