Errrr.... Where does LYY have a daughter in the novel? I think I may have missed that part. I know he has a NIECE, which is quite different. I don't remember about him having a daughter. In which chapter is that? Or is that line meant to be linked to YG?
I think, but I'm not 100% sure, YG also has an older half-brother. That is to say if I understand this translation (from MTL) correctly: Her family is a restructured family. One brother and one sister were brought by their parents, but she was the only one who was born to them. My elder brother and sister are children of two divorced families when they were teenagers.
Unless you think you got all the details, watch again. That is what I am doing and picking up on little details…
I really don't like YG's sister. From what I understand from the book she is her real sister, from another father or mother, I don't remember. YG also has an older real brother in the book. Same problem. They don't treat her well.
I felt lucky I have already read the book (even thought he English translations are REALLY bad for a great part!), but .... let's just say, it will get better :) If they stay true to the book. Seen that they have actually included some actual literal conversations from the book, I'm guessing they'll stay true to the book :)
Can you tell us how a young man during his first love or just in love act normally when intimate with his GF please…
They indeed do it more often. I think it's also because they kinda want to keep their relationship sorta a secret, because of her parents? But friends already know....
As for adults in their late twenties... I see it happen so often! Even when their out for dinner, they have more attention for their phone then for their dining partner! Unfortunately I see it more and more with elder generations as well. The mobile phone is.....
You mean Berry? I know she was in another modern series as well. I just don't remember which series anymore.
She speaks very good English. I vaguely remember her playing an American before in another series. It's annoying I can't remember which one it was. Go Go Squid (2) perhaps? What other series has at least the male lead going to America? I vaguely remember she was an assistant or something for the boss in America, or perhaps somewhere else? I think she also came to China with her boss....
Could it be Marina Maloy? Not sure though....
ETA: I just Marina's instagram. From all other projects she has done, she has a reel in her stories. AASSOL isn't in there, so I guess she's not it.

Ah! I do remember he changed her name to Red Fish. I don't remember where anymore though. LYY Had tears in his eyes when YG left? Oh, I have to watch that again! And I'm watching on a big monitor which is hooked to my laptop! The chat group thing is something I new from the novel. I think I also remember seeing it in the episode :D I'll be rewatching everything again when the series has ended, I think. Right now I'm waiting till the next episode is available for me to watch :)
Hi there! I am here going crazy over this drama so your comment made me laugh. I am not being mean I promise.…
Right? I mean, I know emperors have state affairs and such, but they also have family and friends. And here we truly get to see that. I absolutely LOVE that :D

The text because his throat basically hurts too much from his coughing due to his cold to speak??? So, in this case I think it's understandable. The few times he speaks, she tells him to speak less because of his throat. She actually suggests to use text to spare his throat.....
Additionally, have you seen how teenagers these act around each other? They WILL text INSTEAD of speaking while they are sitting next to each other on the couch. Unfortunately I've seen it happening all the time at birthday parties, but also during normal day live..... And yes, I AM also talking about people who are in a committed relationship.
There are sometimes little mistakes. In episode 11 around the 20 minute mark he start kissing her on the couch…
Yeah, and in the restaurant where she gets that special wine/liquor? One moment the glass is still full, the next moment it's half empty and then it's full again :D
No idea why YG moved to the driver's seat when LYY was setting up the telescope. But it was while they were already…
That is how I interpreted it as well :) It's the same later on with Chengan when Wu Wei tells her YG is LYY's girlfriend. If my understanding is correct, she is actually called sister-in-law in that scene.

I really love the emperor in LLTG! I mean, the moment he finds out the two actually are made for each other and then tries to get them together in his own way!
This is what I read from Weibo. In ep 15 when they drove to the mountains to watch the night sky, LYY was in the…
No idea why YG moved to the driver's seat when LYY was setting up the telescope. But it was while they were already parked there. I don't speak Chinese, so I don't know. Of the few Chinese words I DO know, I know the English translations seem to be a bit off sometimes. Like when LYY tells Li Qingyan that YG is his wife now. I know the Chinese word means wife, but it was translated as girlfriend. I understand why it was translated as such, since they are not married, but the deeper meaning is a bit lost in this.
And you're right :D

And then.... L & P again? I think I might binge watch L & P and ASSOL once the latter has finished. Such wonderful series!
