I was initially interested in SWK but seeing all the comments around "filial piety" and such being a huge factor…
If I understand it correctly, he kinda did a similar thing in the series? He did have the house for a long while already if I interpreted it correctly.

It took a long time indeed. I've also read the novel in English and I think the FML could have been a bit more.... more? I did watch it till the end and was glad with the result :)
While we wait for the next episodes, I wonder what we will watch next. I am thinking to move on to South Wind…
I have way too many series on my To be watched list :D I can't seem to keep up with the new series coming out and watching (older) already released series.
Well there you go... there was the reason why that crying emoji was on the calendar. Can we please just get 1 firefighter…
I agree. And he was so emotional in that tip section! Kudos to the actor. He's done an amazing job.
Having such a series without vital characters dying would indeed be great! Have them injured, go through hardship, etc. But why do they need to die? Like you said, we get the picture that the life of a firefighter/soldier is full of risks.
Oh my god! Yu Qilei! And that last fire tip, it's.... I have no words.
The previews were... impressive. It may sound weird, but I'm glad they don't shy away from the pain and heartache the firefighters feel when they loose a colleague like this.
As for episode 34 preview: was that Dagang leaving?
I really hope our ML and FML will have a happy ending! Xi Gu and Zhong are cute together as well. Ran Dongyang needs to disappear. He brings nothing but trouble. Yan Dai deserves a nice relationship. I dare say even before Xu Ziyi. That last one is getting on my nerves as well. And let's not forget Lin Qi and Jiang Ge. They deserve happiness as well!
I was utterly surprised there were only such relative minor casualties after such an exploding fire in ep. 30. And why was Nan Chu not treated? The moment the camera goes to the full view, the doctor and nurse are just standing there, doing nothing? Her leg was hurt so much that she couldn't walk, so I would say she really needed treatment...... But maybe that's just me :D
I like Zhang Jing Yi's chemistry with Johnny Huang. It's different than what she had with Chei Fei Yun. Perhaps that was because Lighter & Princess initially focused more on their college years and we hardly saw anything from their adult life after college? Still, I think I like their chemistry just a tad bit more.
I wonder how she will do with both men in a fantasy/historic/wuxia/etc series. I think that could be interesting as well :)
Seeing the description I'm guessing this short drama may have a sad ending..... I might watch it once it's fully aired... not quite impressed with what I've seen so far.
Isn't he one of the dancers? Not sure, I'd have to look at the group again.
He could be one of the firefighters... I saw a young man in episode 2, at 10:37 (the one left next to Liu Ru Yi) who looks a bit like him...
And I'm now skimming through the episodes to see if I can catch a glimpse of him. I think he has already been in the series. I think I vaguely remember Nan Chu calling a man by that name, but I'm not sure anymore.

But I guess it would make for less drama
Best wait until you can watch all episodes.
