Out of curiosity: Is this series supposed to have a happy ending? So far I like the pairing I see in clips and I'm going to watch the series after it has fully aired. Just curious :D
you will understand after watching the first episode
Well, I was contemplating if I should start watching the series. A good summary is very helpful with that. When I'm contemplating to watch a series I won't start watching the first episode to see if then the synopsis makes any sense to me. Luckily Xiao An provided an excellent synopsis. It made much more sense :)
Okay, I'm pretty confused after reading the description. If I understand it correctly the FL is Jiu Yao/Wen Xiao Liu who is Prince Cang Xuan's cousin. I assume that's meant to be blood related cousin. So, he recognizes her as Jiu Yao in the end? Also, who's the Prince's "happy little boy"? Is that his inner child? And who is Xiang Liu?
I haven't seen anything of the series yet. I'm contemplating whether to watch this or not...
This drama has 40 or 43 eps? Why on netflix got 43?
I just noticed the same! I've compared the length of the episodes and I think they made different cuts. Episode 35 on dramacool: 1:29:33, Netflix: 46:57 Episode 39: Dramacool: 1:26: 37, Netflix: 45 Episode 40: Dramacool: 1:21:36, Netflix: 45
And then Netflix has three more episodes of respectively 46, 40 and 46 minutes.
Netflix maxed the length of the episodes. I guess the cuts may come at a strange point or at a very logical point (hopefully the latter!). I haven't seen the series yet, so I don't know :)
Here is the deleted scene from ep 27. Still didn't understand why they cut it🙄🙄https://twitter.com/fairydramaland/status/1681885366725545984/mediaviewer
Time restrains maybe? It's the only thing I can think of. Weird cut, since SY sentence later on doesn't make sense without this deleted scene (you either have to have read the book or seen this deleted scene to fully understand it). I think the editors made a mistake here.
Honestly why people are so serious about this deleted scene? There are other important scenes from trailer and…
Probably because with this particular scene another later scene makes much more sense. The part where SY tells MYC about XQ laughter "just now". In the episode that aired, XQ didn't laugh in this part. I checked that part several times. I knew it was in the book, but it's really not in the episode. If they hadn't cut this particular scene, that later sentence would have been logical. Now it came pretty much out of the blue.
