From now on , only Vegas from the series in my lord, Vegas in the novel is a different story.
I am thankful to BOC for the changes they made to his character and Bible did an excellent job of portraying Vegas.

While we got more domestic moments between the two, I still prefer the series version for the sole reason that their relationship has more depth and their bond is stronger. Vegas seems to love Pete himself, he does not put his desires above the person he loves.That alone is more romantic to me than any domestic moments they shared in the novel.

I too had accepeted that the book and series are twoo different takes on the same story and I really wanted to wait for the series while enjoying the book but my joy was taken away with that new chapter. Vegas was far more cruel in the novel but his redemption is what won the fandom over.

I hope unlike they writers, that BOC will show consistency in their story and not ruin Vegas' character

The writers know nothing about consistency, Vegas also said in the special that he was feeling guilty about the way he abused Pete before and now he says he misses the old days? and procceds to rape Pete? It is like two different people.

At this point I have no choice, they did Vegas' character justice so far so I will take my bet 🤡🤡

It was to be expected tho, the writers are not known for beign able to write a story properly. BOC really saved the story with those changes and I hope they will continue with their own ideas as they did till now.

I totally agree with this, that is how I interpret their dynamics in the novel.

In the series their bond is far stronger not only because they connected emoitonally more, but because they truly love one another since no one else can see beyond their exterior, they are true to themlseves only when they are together and they love each other for that. Because they complete one another.

Yes, that scene from ep 12 was not in the novel, Vegas did not even have a pet in the novel.

You know shit is bad when our cult leader is also disappointed.
I am glad I am not the only one seeing this differences in his character in the series compated to the novel. It gives me hope that BOC can do better than that. ( As they have done already)
