TBH this sounds like a more polished The Impossible Heir (with extra steps), at least according to the synopsis. Also, ~zenith of joy~ spells nadir of entertainment for this story. And what's a marionette puppet, isn't that a pleonasm?....

Did they fix the subs? First ep was interesting, but a chore to try and understand what they were trying to communicate...

The title IS GotD and underneath it, it says S1. All the eps have it. So they probably planned the S1 to be followed by more, if successful. But they did not plan one single season, that's for sure.

Okay, that kiss... Wow. And she has such a cute laugh. They actually have great chemistry. I hope they get together again before the season's end.

As for the rest, LOL, we got a FFWD couple of scenes and now we should get back to our regular pace, hopefully. Yang Yan, come out to play!

I mean his manager looked like Wei Yuan (same actor, obviously, though I might be wrong, it's been a while). I've been trying to identify other people who appeared in both places, but the ancient styling makes it a bit difficult LOL.

Wei Yuan is his direct manager in the first ep, too, I guess he's figured they were either sucked in the game too, or the charas just happen to take the faces of people he already knows.

Yeah, Producer Park kicks him out because he didn't follow the rules, but nevermind Producer Park went to Pandora's CEO just to fix the method of kicking him out anyway. I just "love" how rule-respecting this storyline is.

Just when you think it can't get lower and it's actually looking up, there it goes again, tanking the whole feel-good they barely managed to build up with huge efforts for the past three eps or so.

Because why the heck are they doing this? What is this drama about, in the end? If it's about succeeding against all odds that's one thing, but so far the only good character is the ML, and there's some help from the young guys' cast, but ALL, ALL the adults are scum. Why should people try to even understand the FL when she's a cold bitch that follows only her interest and doesn't mind going over actual bodies to get there? She keeps leaking tears but then acts as if they were on auto-mode, a corporate drone who knows it should be feeling SOMEthing, but it's not heart-deep in the end.

I was thinking I might change my mind on this one when they started trying to actually go into a success path for the ML, so that all the pain would be redeemed. But no, they just want to reassure us that this will end up being a waste of time and that the meaning of life is suffering and then getting more to suffer about just because why not.

OR, (just hear me out on this), how about they don't pretend the drama involves scifi elements since it simply does not?...

Then again, this drama sure doesn't know what it wants to be anyway, so pretending to be something it's not is not that surprising. The part where it should have meaning though - if it doesn't, why would people want to spend hours of their lives on it?!

In some isekai, the original character sometimes dies before the transmigration happens (sometimes the transmigrator dies in the real world before going over, too). Other times they're still present but as spectators and have no influence over the actions of the transmigrator. In rebirth stories, they replace their old self, obviously (like in Blossom). It depends on the author's intentions.

He DIDN'T, LOL, he told everyone in the group chat that he's Chen XunNan (a man who lives by his name, LOL!!), then he said he's actually a scholar named Xu that goes to XinNian's academy... later, when he was found with the device, he said his bro gave it to him because as a scholar he can't go do Guardian stuff, etc. They deduced No. 3 has to he XinNian based on those clues hahaha.

As for WHY XQA said it... first, because he's an annoying brat and did it for the LOLs, then because he has no idea who these people are so he's keeping his data secret :D I think that, so far, other than the cat guy master, nobody realised he's actually No. 3. Except obviously those he already told, like Wei Yuan.

She even SAID she needs to break it on his head like a brick to get his attention, so that he'd finally GEDDIT. But he DIDN'T geddit anyway LOL.

And Shen Shu's spirit is incomplete - he says someone, presumably a princess of the realm was at fault for him being splintered. It's just the hand part that is in XQA, I guess he needs to rest of the splinters before he's whole and able to return to the TianYu.

No. 3 was supposed to give her a hand and return the favour (since she helped him with the bandits). But she thinks poor XinNian is No. 3 because Xu QiAn told her so. And XinNian has zero idea about anything that's going on, LOL.

Also, TianYu sorcerers: Be certain not to leave the Dafeng before Shen Shu returns, OR ELSE.

The Dafeng Emperor: So anyway, I'll send him away to investigate the massacre in the north.

Oh and before we all forget, XinNian and SiMu out-meng-ing each other, LOL. "Xinnian~~~"... "SiMu~~~" hahaha~ They're like that mini-theater of Athrun and Kira during the nakayoshi energy break attempts.
