It doesn't sit right with me. Fake death after all the mourning? I think it's lame and stupid plotline.
This is a romance costume cdrama drama, people fake die and come back to life ALL THE TIME. You'd think it was a Messiah convention, each and every time. ATWIL, AoL, TBW, TTEOTM, TU... all had this thing. And those are just off the top of my head, LOL, I think I could remember a few more if I really tried.
First off: Shi'An, f**k the f**k off already. Nobody appointed you blame-setter and you have NO right. So shut…
... is it just me or did he straight up offer to kill off Fan Yu IF he proved to be a bad emperor?!
How else is that description of the ex-Crown Prince SO precisely fitting Fan Yu... and what Jiang He did to him, too? I think these two men are indirectly discussing the power disposition if the emperor dies and only FY is left. I loved that talk.
If LZS is JH's son, how did Gu dad come into the picture, and why did JH not marry LZS's mother after all if they really loved each other? Something's either fishy or definitely not how each other them perceived it. But if LZS is the son, he showed all his cards in that discussion. If there's any integrity to JH, he played LZS all these three years, and well done to the best weiqi player in the world :D
I didn't want to see JiuSi so broken. Even if she's not dead, even if it looked to be the only way out of the mess (I'd have gone with removing the Empress instead), they all did him bad - even YuRu. I know she had no choice initially, but she could've told him in these past three years instead of letting him spend his life energy building up a dam (that that commissioner seems inclined to un-build, LOL).
But MAAAAYBE... I mean, it's been three years. And they had consummated the marriage before the mess started. Maybe she was pregnant. And maybe there's a little GiuSi or YuRu in the world? (I don't have high hopes for that though, since she's "Miss" only). But one can still dream about it :D
First off: Shi'An, f**k the f**k off already. Nobody appointed you blame-setter and you have NO right. So shut up.
Second... Will nobody rid me of this meddlesome ex-empress and baggage?!
Fan Xuan isn't in the clear yet. I'm still not pleased to how he handled it. I'm demoting him from Theoden King to the Steward of Gondor, at the time he was still sane. Maybe.
Also... OMG I think I'm falling for the Jiang uncle. He's a nine-tailed old fox, that's what he is. I mean...
GJS's speech in prison: amazing. LYR should've been there to hear it.
LZS's face during the punishment:... Actually, I don't care he cares (a very little bit). Die already, b***h.
The ex-Imperial mom and daughter: plot armour is strong with GJS and LYR. Do anything at your own risk, I dare you.
Also, that cough means Emperor Fan is on his last legs, LOL, if I learned anything from dramas so far. I can't say he's still immaculate so I won't mind all that much. If he had CARED a tiny bit, there wouldn't have been a thing for the three or four musketeers to go around investigating, the Emperor could have told them to, or had his own people do it. So whatever.
So I'm guessing here - endgame, GJS starts a whole new dynasty? :D
PS LYR banging those drums... That's why she trained so hard in the war :D
So, my original hypothesis stands (timetraveler. Probably accidental - though there's that rock). The best things…
That woman is the student who wanted (or was) KS's friend in the past. And someone killed a woman - named Lee, maybe someone related to LMS? - and is now trembling in their boots.
KS and Kai both have the childhood scars... Who is the older (looked like Kai, but with the time jump one can't be certain) and why was he sorry for?
And in the preview... KS says he wanted to kill "her"? Nonono, he's cute, and has superpowers, I want him to not be the supervillain!! O.o
So, my original hypothesis stands (timetraveler. Probably accidental - though there's that rock).
The best things so far about this are the cutest frenemy bromance between DongJu and MyungSeok (and oh, LMS is related to one of the "interesting" club group of possible suspects, that's going to bring some problems in the future...) and KS's sudden smile when DongJu admitted he'll take him home and give him rice LOL. That was cute.
Yh they definitely have chemistry. But it's not that twinkle twinkle chemistry
That dance scene had all the chemistry in the lab and then some. And they're always sparking off each other. They have plenty of chemistry - TBH, I didn't even like ABH before this, but he totally gets the slow wonderous falling in love. I quite like him. And I quite like them together. They're "it".
I read somewhere on sub reddit about this drama, I found it interesting and thought of sharing it here.....People…
And do you and the people you're paraphrasing have any idea AT ALL how trangender people actually feel?? Stop freaking projecting your own biases and prejudices on anyone and anything and just try to open your eyes to your surroundings.
"Maybe like transgender" what the actual f**k do you think THAT means?
I'm not even going to try to explain to you how psychology even works, you're already convinced you have the absolute truth and I've wasted enough time on trolls already in this drama's comment section.
The sweetest part these two eps was the dance on the pier and his expressions. They totally nailed a perfect romantic scene that doesn't need any enhancements. I loved that.
The best, IMHO, is still the opening scene of NiF2. That was epic movie-grade and it hooked me into the drama…
They're two completely different beasts (they share the same space and pretty closely linked times, but the crews change almost completely).
NiF is a slow-burn, sweeeet revenge involving mind games, preparation, preparation, preparation (MCS is the king of outplaying the whole game in advance, LOL), also bittersweet bromance and maybe one of the best costume drama that isn't directly historical or wuxia. It's one of my favourites, I binged it in less than a work week :D
NiF2 is much more dynamic, there are a lot of battle scenes and it's mostly a coming-of-age story that involves more romance, more tragedy and heartbreak, but it didn't feel as personal as the first one. I loved some of the characters and couldn't care less for others, but the battle scenes are all epic. I've rewatched all of them, and most of the first half of the series because I like them so much. The ending... eh, it's good enough but not as satisfying as the first drama's.
There are rumours of a third in the making, I'm pretty hyped for it :D

Nah, no compassion from me.

But then again, that preview...
