A rushed HE as usual.....their daughter appears and the end only his shadow is seen💀
I love it, actually :D
If I don't get to watch WWX pleading for his a&&, err, his life, and hear LWJ tell him "everyday means everyday"... Then at least pretend they're together and ABOUT TO GET TO IT :D

It's from The Untamed. That's a danmei (BL) so no PDAs or anything outspoken about a HEA or anything LOL.
The novel ends in a papapa scene, so that was definitely a NO! from the censors. So instead they concocted a separation and then in the final scene, one of the leads comes back, appears to hear something, turns around, smiles wide with the power of a thousand suns (he has the most beautiful smile) and...
I think someone mentioned it in an earlier comment but I think it's VERY very lightly implied that they smashed…
The actual reason they do this in MOST wuxia/xianxia/historical dramas is a bit technical.
The thing is, most of these involve wigs and putting them on and taking them off is quite a laborious job, even more so when there's jewelry and head gear to take care of. (It can take up to a few hours to make it look like it's their natural hair). Also, a lot of scenes are filmed out of sequence, so now they film a bed scene, next a fight scene, then a night scene, back to daytime etc.
So it would definitely kill the flow to have to take off everything just for a sleep/bed scene. And as it's usually the women wearing the jewelry, there's basically no costume cdrama that won't have these strange scenes of people going to bed/sleep completely dressed up and with makeup on, LOL.
For this specific scene, it was way easier to take off TTJ's head crown and the small chain in his hair than to have all YXW's jewels and makeup off, LOL :D
“Tantai jin received clothes to keep warm. an unexpected warmth never experienced before in his life, even when…
When he's buying her that basket of candy from the refugee girl, he tells YXW - "you also bought a basket of fireworks from that woman, last New Year - when you BOUGHT ME A WINTER COAT". And when he got the first winter coat, the ugly mauve one that the second Ye brother cut up, he was going around touching it all the time.
So yeah, he remembers the small gestures of kindness because there weren't all that many in his life so they're worth way, way more to him than to those who made the gestures themselves.
I don’t think people have problem with him not as black as in the novel. Lots actually like it in fact. The…
I've no problem with her (any more). Though I liked her WAY better before the second time she betrays TTJ.
I also have no problem with him being more sane than in the novel - I like evil-ish charas, I don't want to fall for the devil itself. If he were really a devil incarnate, his actual nature would be profoundly evil and no redemption arc would scrub him clean.
But I'm still unhappy with the way this new betrayal came through...
I don’t usually like Wuxia drama, but this one is really good. I’m just frustrated, if she wasn’t so biased,…
Wuxia = martial arts, maybe some ignored physics, no Immortals or supernatural beings.
Xianxia = martial arts, normal people, cultivators, Immortals, Gods, maybe supernatural beings (starting with dragons and all the way up to phoenixes and other creatures). Also ignores physics.
Okay so now I've cooled WAY down from right after the episode, LOL, and I'm ready to accept YXW has to get a case of the stupid because otherwise TTJ wouldn't let go of her and (maybe) turn more evil.
On the other hand... Now I WANT him to become evil. Like, murderous maniacally evil. Can we have that please? Even if it costs him his friends and all or most of what he's built around. Let him just... destroy everything. So that everybody's finally perfectly happy he's turned as black as in the novel, LOL.
You guys keep fighting with each other TML is preparing his zombie army. TTJ you should broad your spy area, your…
TTJ is busy being jealous, can't watch his back when there are daggers closer to the skin at home. Also, what would we do without a sudden surprise enemy? :D
can anybody explain what that monstrous looking monument is behind Jing kingdom. It looks like claws and it's…
It's a Stargate.
LOL, no. It looks like it's either a natural formation, or some monumental statue remnants. They include the site of the swing set, where that ruined arch protects the swing from the rain.
6 days later than their discussion, Pang YiZhi and the rest of the refugees and what's left of the army of the…
IMO it's a possibility, otherwise why would they mention they'd have to leave through a southern land? When also TTML and the witch keep saying there's not enough people left around to make enough puppets...
Looked throught the comments, but i still don't get why she needs ti save XL. they both agreed TTJ won't kill…
6 days later than their discussion, Pang YiZhi and the rest of the refugees and what's left of the army of the Sheng Kingdom will leave through the southern lands. If he wants to join them and get over the seas, he should be there with them.
Obviously they don't know that Tantai MingLang and his sorceress are making puppets in those places. But anyway, that's where the time constraints came from.

The end.

Which is to say, this is more xianxia :D

... Would NBY apply?? (Sorry, sorry, couldn't help myself).
