As I understood it from what was already said (in the drama), he'd become the DG anyway, as long as the bone isn't removed. She's supposed to remove the bone in order for him NOT to be reborn as the DG. It's a pre-condition that can't be skipped if she wants to stop the future slaughter.

Yet she keeps missing the point - she wants to make him love, okay - why would she betray that love when she has it? She's falling for him herself but can't see it yet - WHAT is it about XL to make her betray TTJ so easily and endanger her oh-so-important mission?!

I don't mind they made TTJ more endearing, as I don't really like scumbags who get "saved by love" endings while they were scumbags the whole time, no other redemption earned. I think the idea the drama is trying to impart is that he needn't have become the Devil God in the first place, if he didn't have the Devil Bone and wasn't abused, those two causes made him the DG in the end.

I hope they patch YXW's actions in the next eps, somehow - maybe she confesses who she really is to TTJ so that her addiction to saving XL/GongYe is explained... somehow. But if it remains as is, it doesn't make sense. Unless she too got drugged (by stupidity) to do it.

I mean, ten minutes before they were freaking in bed together!! HOW do you go from that to "let's drug him to sleep, he won't mind!"

I watched quite a few dramas that I haven't read the novels they're based on, before (or after) I did. Most of them make sense on their own, no novel-story to add on details needed. This time, the drama DOES make sense in that LSS is not actually in love with TTJ and it's easy to betray him, over and over. Then why should HE give her his trust, any more?!

It definitely looks like SHE's the one main reason he'd go ahead and become the Devil God, as all his other actions are not that evil (in-drama) and would not warrant such careless acts from her.

Is the novel different? I DON'T CARE. The drama makes her look really, really bad at this moment. He's not an angel either (I did notice last ep he was ENJOYING killing XL's men who attacked him) BUT he is honest where it concerns her. I guess that'll be over from now on.

If she's supposed to be a traitor, she would have better been more subtle about it.

He showed her, too, but let's not get that get on the way...

NBY: He put his hands on her face. She grabbed his clothes. She then left.

TTJ: ?! Next time take someone more articulate to spy along with you.

you know he loves her as the audience, does she tho?

He just TOLD her, last ep... And she promised him, no more lies or betrayals.

Nevermind, I am a bit disappointed in YXW/LSS cause I quite liked her and she's acting really stupid. It's fiction anyway, it'll pass.

She needs to act human, then... Humans who are in love don't go around hurting their loved ones.

I haven't read the novel and at this point I might not, at all. The story needs to make sense in the drama, too...

It's like she's allowed to do ANYthing to him because he loves her, but if he does anything to her, he's the devil. The ones who hurt you the worst are those who you love best...

He still has zero importance in this timeline, whether he lives or dies. She just decided on her own it's better to betray the one who loves her in order to go save someone who doesn't matter in the least, either for her bigger mission, or her current life.

Not even the world, just anybody else she wants to - just not TTJ. He always seems to come last in her mind.

And he DID show mercy without her asking, too! XL had come to kill him, and he only got shown what a viper he had married and thrown into prison, where he's been treated well - what else is to be expected?!

She could have just ASKED TTJ for his life, and I kind of think he would have found a way to ship him off to his men and out of the kingdom.

Also, aren't they supposedly going through the south? When Tantai MingLang and his witch are busily preparing a counter-attack puppet army? If XL gets out of prison, he wouldn't have many chances of remaining alive anyway. Of course she doesn't know it - but still, her first instinct is to betray TTJ and THEN ask for forgiveness. It's not done.

Yeah well *grumbling* you know, when she had her hand over his chest, it looked like he was a bit... dishevelled. I was thrown back to their MY&SJ days (well, that one night LOL).

She made him fall in love with her and THEN betrayed him twice, and lied to him (repeatedly) and now she's back to giving him drugs. She doesn't respect anything about him except for his power - and she's not going to give him the slightest chance to prove his own nature OR recognize his good faith acts.

I have a thing about trust - betraying it is the worst she can do to him, IMHO. And she did it, multiple times. I have no idea how he could forgive even before.

Kind of a bit too little, a bit too late, IMHO. She'd have already done the worst she could do by then.

It looked like he understood love, alright. He went beyond normal thinking to not hurt her family and her friends and her former love interests, even when she betrayed HIM and never spared him a lick of trust. What she's doing now is coming out of the blue.

So... XL pushed her away (not that it mattered to her anymore, but still), married her sister, let her be kidnapped off to the Jing kingdom, let her wander the wilderness for whatever time she needed to get out of the Abyss thing, then after the dream sequence, just let her go off to look for TTJ, the Sheng's kingdom's enemy...

And in return, she 1. goes DIRECTLY to him when TTJ is gone to look for his mother's bones, and then lies about it and 2. goes DIRECTLY to him after he's imprisoned by TTJ (and not killed off, since he had come to assassinate him) and she's now drugging and lying and trying to go behind TTJ's back yet AGAIN... all because in the very far future this guys is going to be her brother??

It doesn't make any SENSE. He is NOT her sect brother, he was NOT her brother in the dream as they were NOT the same people, where does this loyalty come from?!
