Actually, there's no honest wrap-up. The manager (who basically bought and sold off the idol) had a come-to-Jesus moment when he tried to commit suicide and her own son, who had grown close to the boy, was more destroyed by it than her. Everybody else went on to have their own happy lives ignoring the hurt they infringed on teens and young adults, the idol himself magically got healed of all his trauma (*because of reasons unknown*) and was obviously successful (*unexplained*), the young people involved in the story remained good people, ALL THE ADULTS remained psychopats, FL most of all, the end.

So no, there's nothing to save it. There was just a tiny ounce of hope they'd turn it around, make all the pain worth the story, but nah. Psychofest all the way.

Yeah, better not watch that. It remains one of my hate-watches and I keep anti-recc'ing it whenever I get reminded of it. Too bad about the music, there were a few good songs there.

My suspect is the lady forensic doctor who's just leaving - she had the means to poison the intern and she should know about drugs. So my money's on her.

I'm only two eps in though, so don't spoil me if it turns out there's someone else by ep 4.

LYX is looking amazing, the story is a bit convoluted BUT I already have a suspect LOL.

Just wanted to ask - whoever sings the ED song - did they also sing the OP to Be Reborn? It sounds like the same voice and it's itching not to know.

If you really want to see all the misery of being an idol (or trainee), there's Namib for you. I DO NOT recommend it. Just a warning and a heads-up. (There's also no romance of any kind, just pure misery porn all the way through).

It's pretty similar, only the flashback isn't in one long piece as in the drama but spread out in shorter parts throughout the story. Also there are some drama subplots that do not happen in the novel, you'll see.

Other than that, mostly it's the same. Only uncensored *wink*.

She's a good actress (seen her before). She has a good intro in this one (I'm only on ep3, so we'll have to see). HMH usually has good chemistry with anyone (you watched FoF, you KNOW it's true) and he brings up the rest of the cast with him.

First three eps are good - he looks so much younger than in FoF, she's playing a cutesy but wily swindler/demon, the older Zhuo bro is the last part of the triangle, LOL, the OP BGM is AMAZING, good effects (so far).

Dive in.

Glory is going to air in parallel to this one. I wonder if the production companies raised a stink about it yet. They (whoever made the decision) played dirty.

It's not on the victims to be accountable though. It's on the aggressors. And there's been no accountability so far. People will take the chance of giving punishment if remorse can't be found.

The longer this goes on (or if he/his agency ignore it completely), the worse the effect on SK audience, precisely because there has been so little remorse or even acknowledgment on the part of Japan for so many years. Every small incident where they show they're insensitive or ignorant of what the country has done to its neighbours will grow out of proportion with the lack of any kind of reaction from them.

Again, we'll see how big of an impact it will have when the drama airs. I think this will be revisited if it's not solved sooner, though.

This was good :) One of the scifi superhero kdramas that lands the ending. My major problem with it is that it's short and there's not a lot of development on the villains, they're just villains because.

And then there are a few things that rub me wrong. Overall though, a fun watch. Short though. And a long time coming, I guess we won't be seeing a second season or something.
