Chairman Cha just didn't like the taste, he doesn't have an allergy.

He always planned to bring SeonWoo in, he sent SDJ to make arrangements. But until now the mother opposed having SeonWoo recognised (she didn't want to meet the Chairman either). But now SeonWoo had already interracted with the Cha family and DeokHui came to threaten her, so she changed her mind. What's unknown is if she's in SDJ's camp... or is siding with Yeom.

Maybe he does inherit, but Vice President Yoo is the acting chairman until he grows up. I guess his part is being (maybe) Chairman Cha's side-son, LOL and his mother is the snake in the grass or something...

A catfight between her and DeokHui would be epic and totally in tone with the drama :D (Maybe DeokHui can arrange an accident with Secretary Gong's help or something :D)

SeonWoo is a baker's son, he might change over and start making noodles and TaeYun will cook them for ramyeon - the PERFECT ending for these two, all over brotherhood (half- or adopted-) with DongJoo :D

I don't think Chairman Cha has enough time remaining in (some) working order to make SeonWoo the actual heir. He'd need a few good years for that, and he's fading very very fast lately.

Go in expecting makjang, not action thriller (though there's plenty of action and some thriller too). But it's mostly a short-drama format makjang (usually that goes for the weekend drama long-format LOL).

But it's worth it. It's mostly a three-men carried show (definitely not bromance), and so far it delivered. It might not be everyone's cup of tea (because maybe people expected more romance and who knows what else), but try on the first episode at least and see if it's to your liking.

The preview for next week has TaeYun starting to do stuff on his own. I guess there'll be more twists and turns until then.

There's a new conspiracy theory in the works, LOL, that Ji YeonSoo, SeonWoo's mom, is a plant by Yeom so that her son (might or might not be chairman's son) inherits the conglomerate.

What I am expecting is that she's actually Mme Chu (can't remember her personal name, LOL), back from the dead, along with her older son :D Wouldn't that make that family tree really overgrown? :D

I feel for TaeYun, but he didn't seem too ambitious so far. THEN AGAIN he is HID's son too... I wonder if he ever finds out SDJ is his actual brother and feels betrayed by that part too - since he was the most affected when SDJ had the cinnamon intoxication, and then saw SDJ being all over SeonWoo...

Ahn JiHo is freaking 21, Cho JunYoung just turned 22, the oldest of the 3 MLs is barely 27. The secondary cast is a bit older, but 1st ML, though he acted in a lot of dramas already, is barely out of his teenage years, LOL.

PS For anyone who hasn't watched it yet, he's one of the main cast in Nobody Knows (that is a great police thriller, go watch it), and he was 16 then, in one of his first roles. He showed promise then, and I guess he kept delivering.

They found out and moved in to get them - they killed (or at least tried really hard) the Administrator, and now everybody knows. Maybe they wanted to get a lead on where the Dandelion files are - I hope SDJ's helpers don't get overrun by Yeom's people...

White Truck of Doom is a serious contender though.

He already had the upbringing from hell - amnesia, missing (supposed) father who is actually not his father, he worked hard doing all the dirty things to go up in DaeSan and make his not-father proud, only to have the love of his life marry another without even breaking up with him, then suddenly everybody wants to kill him, then torture him for things he doesn't remember, then his only sister (only family that he knows) is killed in front of him, then to find out his father killed his mother and basically everything that went wrong in his life is due to his unknown father who is his lover's stepfather...?

That love is tainted now, she's missed so many chances, and then the shock of thinking they were always siblings must have gotten to him.

In true makjang fashion, he'll probably leave alone in the end and MAYBE they're reunited a bit later after things settle down. Who knows. ATP it could go every which way...

The chairman would feel sad about it, if he could remember. He won't mind... I just hope SDJ doesn't get his heart broken again by another Cha.

YTY will poison everyone's ramyeon one of these days, see if he doesn't LOL.

FINALLY!!!!!! About freaking time, too!!

By this time, poor SDJ's mind gotta be almost cracking. First he hears his mother's name (for the first time) from the very man he thinks murdered her (which he did), then he accuses him of murdering all of them - that scene was PERFECTION, including HID's tearful shock-stricken eyes! - then, eventually, he learns the man is actually his own father....

(Which yay!! Because he's TaeYun's half-brother after all, and NOT YEN's brother at all, LOL, but also OMG because his father killed his mother and tried to kill him 4 times so far... Wow.)

Poor TaeYun getting to eavesdrop in EVERYTHING - first he finds out his father not-so-secretly almost killed SDJ (when he pretended to have called the ambulance), and now he gets to hear SDJ accusing him directly of having killed his parents... Poor kid. #hugheotaeyun

Why did SDJ go in with an bulletproof vest, LOL, is he now predicting HID's moves? Though he must've expected it, what with HID's track record, LOL. But HE COULD'VE SHOT YOU IN THE HEAD YOU IDIOT!!!!!!! Or maybe Yeom gave HID blanks, LOL, now they want to keep SDJ on SeonWoo's side to get him up the levels until he inherits DaeSan.

I hope SeonWoo doesn't turn to the dark side though. He seems to be following whatever Yeom is asking him to, I don't want to see him do that :( Though it was awesome him calling everybody in the family by the relationship, LOL @DeokHui's face when he called her noona hahaha~ (and not recognising the useless daughter, the director of DS Energy, hahaha~, she's an always forgotten item :D)

This ep belonged to HID, though. It turns out HE's the one who planned all killings, WTF!!!! I was really certain Yeom put him up to it - but no, he got rid of Mme Chu and his friend because he was jealous (still can't tell if it was over her or over YSH - I am pretty sure it's over HIM, but I've been wrong before, LOL). And then he decided to remove SDJ when he was trying to run away with YEN JUST BECAUSE HE WAS AIDING SEONWOO~ I thought he did it because he wanted to stop her from running away, it turns out it has no relation to that, wow, wow, wow HID... The raw side of him is simply a killer.

Now let's see how SDJ processes this... He's now free to woo YEN again, but WILL HE? Because that house is a nest of vipers, traps at every turn, and what should be his end goal?! To kill his own father? To get to the top of DaeSan (he has no actual chance, he's unrelated to anyone in the Cha family in the end, he'll always remain at second level at most). I say he should take the two trillions and go away (w/out YEN).

PS Does anyone think that the BGM they used in the scene where he reads the DNA report sounded very much like Fire Waltz (this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=335DhhajvBQ ) - I love that song, and if they used it, I want to hear it in the official OST when they release it.

That is true, she's really stupid (I refer to the character, obviously). But love is blind, so if he loves her, he's blind to her being really dumb.

At least she's pretty. Hopefully if they ever have kids, they'd inherit his brain power (the prettyness, they can take from both sides, LOL).

Oh, we got people who already have an acting career in this one, too (like in LFLS). All in for it!!

Cho JunYoung, when smiling, looks so very much like Woo DoHwan, does anybody else see it?
