FINALLY!!!!!! About freaking time, too!!

By this time, poor SDJ's mind gotta be almost cracking. First he hears his mother's name (for the first time) from the very man he thinks murdered her (which he did), then he accuses him of murdering all of them - that scene was PERFECTION, including HID's tearful shock-stricken eyes! - then, eventually, he learns the man is actually his own father....

(Which yay!! Because he's TaeYun's half-brother after all, and NOT YEN's brother at all, LOL, but also OMG because his father killed his mother and tried to kill him 4 times so far... Wow.)

Poor TaeYun getting to eavesdrop in EVERYTHING - first he finds out his father not-so-secretly almost killed SDJ (when he pretended to have called the ambulance), and now he gets to hear SDJ accusing him directly of having killed his parents... Poor kid. #hugheotaeyun

Why did SDJ go in with an bulletproof vest, LOL, is he now predicting HID's moves? Though he must've expected it, what with HID's track record, LOL. But HE COULD'VE SHOT YOU IN THE HEAD YOU IDIOT!!!!!!! Or maybe Yeom gave HID blanks, LOL, now they want to keep SDJ on SeonWoo's side to get him up the levels until he inherits DaeSan.

I hope SeonWoo doesn't turn to the dark side though. He seems to be following whatever Yeom is asking him to, I don't want to see him do that :( Though it was awesome him calling everybody in the family by the relationship, LOL @DeokHui's face when he called her noona hahaha~ (and not recognising the useless daughter, the director of DS Energy, hahaha~, she's an always forgotten item :D)

This ep belonged to HID, though. It turns out HE's the one who planned all killings, WTF!!!! I was really certain Yeom put him up to it - but no, he got rid of Mme Chu and his friend because he was jealous (still can't tell if it was over her or over YSH - I am pretty sure it's over HIM, but I've been wrong before, LOL). And then he decided to remove SDJ when he was trying to run away with YEN JUST BECAUSE HE WAS AIDING SEONWOO~ I thought he did it because he wanted to stop her from running away, it turns out it has no relation to that, wow, wow, wow HID... The raw side of him is simply a killer.

Now let's see how SDJ processes this... He's now free to woo YEN again, but WILL HE? Because that house is a nest of vipers, traps at every turn, and what should be his end goal?! To kill his own father? To get to the top of DaeSan (he has no actual chance, he's unrelated to anyone in the Cha family in the end, he'll always remain at second level at most). I say he should take the two trillions and go away (w/out YEN).

PS Does anyone think that the BGM they used in the scene where he reads the DNA report sounded very much like Fire Waltz (this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=335DhhajvBQ ) - I love that song, and if they used it, I want to hear it in the official OST when they release it.

That is true, she's really stupid (I refer to the character, obviously). But love is blind, so if he loves her, he's blind to her being really dumb.

At least she's pretty. Hopefully if they ever have kids, they'd inherit his brain power (the prettyness, they can take from both sides, LOL).

Oh, we got people who already have an acting career in this one, too (like in LFLS). All in for it!!

She had left SeongHyeon with Madam Yeom for a few days and she left with some baggage AND the kid - I think she was running away from someone (very possibly HID).

People who are really scary don't need to tell you you should be afraid of them, LOL.

It doesn't take 8 years to know you love someone.

You know that goldfish scene though? In my mind it went on like -

Yeom: Bark bark bark BARK BARK bark!!!!!!
SDJ (lazily, bored): .... Meow.

Big scary Yeom didn't make an impression, this tomcat has all the alleys under his control :D

The woman is Mme Ji, Ji SeonWoo's mother (soon to be Cha SeunWoo, and her Chairman Cha's new wife).

In this ep, nothing much went on - the family tried to buy off EunNam so she stays in the marriage, and she didn't. Yeom HuiCheol got beaten up (still unsure how bad) because he offered her the divorce so all the prenup money is now lost (to Yeom JangSeom). SDJ went and made sure the split is official (they annulled the contract). He also warned Secretary Gong not to tell anyone he's SeongHyeon.
Chairman Cha brought SeonWoo into the family and basically everyone but DeokHui and TaeYun agreed. She had a crisis, I don't know TaeYun's reasons, he might've just been shocked. SeonWoo is to be introduced into DaeSan with SDJ's support in all things.
SDJ is still having nightmares about his (first) childhood accident, so he went back to Dr. Kang to get hypnotised, and he remembered everything - HID actually pushed their car off the road after a White Truck of Doom TM hit them (presumably through Yeom's fixing, since the driver of the truck gave HID a DNA report saying SeongHyeon and Yeo SunWoo are biologically related - basically claiming SDJ is YSH's son.)

I think SDJ is actually HID's son and Yeom lied to him (wouldn't be the first time), and that EunNam is YSH's daughter for real. We'll see. The preview promises more action and some new revelations. And SDJ is now mad :D

In the preview for 12th, he's opening one of those official envelopes, he might've already sent some samples to test...

I don't know where the 8 years thing started, because I think it's more or less about a year and not much longer.

What if HID killed them because he felt betrayed, after thinking SeongHyeon is his son? Maybe Mme Chu was fleeing from him!

So that would make SDJ HID's son (the DNA test would have to be fake then), EunNam would still be Yeo SunHo's daughter, and SDJ and her would have no blood link at all?....

Dr. Kang's father is Kang Seong, the gardener. He was friends in college days with Yeo SunHo and Heo Il-Do. At least THEY (Dr. Kang and SDJ) shouldn't be siblings LOL.

Sooooo....

Crazy hypothesis no. 1: What if the DNA report was faked and SDJ actually is HID's son? Yeom manipulated HID into killing his unfaithful (and leaving him) lover because he thought she had YSH's son instead?

Crazy hypothesis no. 2: What if Mme Ji is actually ex-Mme Chu and she's also SDJ's mom? By now everybody and their mad aunt could claim to be his family and I'd believe them. (ETA Which would make him SeonWoo's brother and not TaeYun's. BUT - what if he's half-brother with SeonWoo through their mother and half-brother with TaeYun through their father, LOL? :D Wouldn't that make the whole family tree a complete mess? I'm voting for this twist!!)

Serious question no. 1 Why the hell is HID looking at YSH and NOT at Mme Chu instead, if he feels betrayed?! No but seriously, is there something heavily implied, what with the photo and this look of betrayal, between them?!

Serious question no. 2: So who's side is Mme Ji on?! Why would she go to Yeom and not keep trusting SDJ? Do she and SDJ have a full battle plan that involves her making Yeom help her unwittingly? I hope so, but it'll be damned dangerous.

Aaaaaah dammit the Kopiko PPL claimed a triple hit today LOL. Also the WToDTM made another appeareance (because why not, LOL) but this time they left the finishing job to HID. And he freaking DID IT!! That was the most suprising thing in this series, LOL. He actually had the guts (or red-seeing rage) to finally complete a hit. Wow. Good on you, HID... I guess.

So they had DNA testing in '98 but now it's 2025, we don't do that anymore? :D SDJ, grow a freaking pair and take the test, for your mind's peace if for nothing else.

From tomorrow's ep preview I guess we're heading back into action, let's go, I've been missing a good rage-driven, fight-rearing SDJ :D

Also, I was pretty certain HID didn't have what it takes. Guess this proves me wrong.

Now her father has an armour and doubled it with Fu YunXi, she's out of the house/family and probably won't go back, she hates (or seems to hate) FYX, and the idiot is still poisoned himself with no antidote in sight.

She's going to partner with him, probably, as she has no other option, and he'll probably still not tell her he's in full process of dying by poison. And we're well past the halfway mark, if there was an antidote (and not just a brief mention of it) it would've come into discussion by now. I don't think FYX would just lay around waiting to drop dead.

For what it's worth, that VERY long doomed-lovers-death-scene took way too long, LOL. I was not invested in the mother's first love story, the best scenes of her were when she was hysterically (pretend) evil, but now that's that. At least her death is giving HanYan more fuel for vengeance.

This might be my favourite CDL drama so far, she's showing some skill there. Still can't really emote during pain-crying scenes, IMHO, but can do a great job when she's supposed to suffer while keeping it inside. And the character is pretty smart (except when she isn't), and CDL is doing her justice.

Also, Xin YunLai, wow, he's doing also an amazing job!! I went into this drama for him, stayed for the pretty dark romance (hopefully both are alive at the end, though TBH I don't trust much that it'll be a HEA), but his character too is amazing. Two good people turning villains walk into a bar and this drama happens LOL.

I need to take a little break, there are only a few eps left and finishing all that are aired already will put me in the waiting craze :D
