I never said I’m not greatful for the subs. As a translator myself, I understand how time consuming it can be. I also watched many dramas without subs and I’m ok with that as I usually can understand a lot of what’s going on without translation.

I think because it less popular with internationals compared to how popular in South Korea. But I also don’t like how long it takes to sub.

I’m not defending him neither I’m a crazy fan. But the only forced abortion I believe happned is the one that is similar to what happens in China were some women got really dragged to abortion clinics and were forcefully aborted. She made her choice. No matter how toxic the relationship, it was her choice. She agreed to abort her baby for a promise to marry the man who asked her to abort. I mean if a man asked a woman to abort, she should know better than thinking he is good husband material because if he was he would never asked her to abort.

Well, she is so stupid then to abort a miracle baby just to marry a man. I’m not defending him by the way at all. But it bugles my mind how some women can be that stupid.

Rookie historian was written by a beginner writer and it’s really a great drama. So underrated for how good it is.but the writer was an assistant writer to a famous Korean writer. So that helped for sure.

There are many historical dramas with amazing romance such as rookie historian for a light hearted drama and six flying dragons, empress ki for serious ones. Also some Chinese dramas like good bye my princess and one and only have really good historical romance. I really would not consider this as a good example of romantic drama in historical times. Even the leads hardly have any chemistry between them. But we as people have different taste. Maybe this is up to ur liking.

“One the woman” is the name of the drama. It a 2021 drama and already aired 10 episodes so far and it’s quite popular in South Korea. Not quite as popular in this forum though. The FL is the FL from the feisty priest. This can help you find it easier maybe.

I suggest you check one the woman drama as I think it’s better suited with the ones you currently watch. This one is unfortunately not that good. I have watched all episodes so far hoping it will get better, but it got worse and worse.

Yeon joo changed her name because her dad is considered a criminal as he was convicted of the crime that killed the ML dad. It wouldn’t have been possible for her to become a prosecutor if it’s a known fact that she is a daughter of a criminal. That how it is a countries like South Korea. At the start I thought they were twins too but as of now I think they are cousin. I think yeon Jee dad and mina’s dad are brothers but yeon jee dad was kicked out of the family same as the father of the ML. As of now, I don’t think they are twins. But maybe the writer has a twist and they end up being twins.

Yes that true. The marriage was a business deal and he never really cared for mina. But the prosecutor intrigues him. I think he can be more attracted to her than the real mina. However, he is still a douche and will put his interest over anyone and at this time the prosecutor is the only one who is really standing for his sister. I think he is attracted to fake mina because she is standing up to everyone and he finds this interesting.

The anchor girl was his last relationship. He was with many other girls before. If you remember when the prosecutor opened mina’s ipad, she found a list of bad stuff the in laws did and for him she listed several girls her husband was involved with. I think since the start their marriage was just a business deal. However, I still think mina was not happy with the relationships because she confronted both her husband and the mistress before the prosecutor took over.

The funny thing I don’t think he would have minded it if it was not the prosecutor who was with seung wook. In the first couple of episodes he used to always say that this woman creeps me out. I just think to him mina didn’t mean anything at all. It was the prosecutor whom he seems to go for because she unlike mina go off on his family. I think if the real mina was still there, she would have been dead by now.

It has to do with superstitions rather than logic. Many cultures has strange beliefs. It’s not the first time I came across twins being considered a bad omen in an Asian drama.

His meeting with prosecutor was really short but it impacted him very much because he was in a very desperate situation and he fell in love with her. I think when he met mina he thought she was the girl he loved because they look exactly the same. Mina never told him the truth about it which mean mina knew since that time that there is a girl that looks exactly like her. I think it never occurred to the poor ML that there are 2 girls who look exactly the same and mina is not the one he really liked. When he met mina he was happy he found the girl he loved. The question now is mina really a completely bad person or she was just pathetic girl who never been loved by anyone and never wanted to inform the ML about because she was happy someone who is going to be her husband is loving toward her and treating her nicely (not the real her, but she never minded that because she just wanted to feel loved or cared for). I’m still not quite sure. But I’m leaning to think that she is not completely a bad person but he did a lot of questionable things to survive.

I guess u haven’t watched all aired episodes yet. But ya he actually met the prosecutor and fell in love with her not mina. So, the fake mina is his real love.

I didn’t say she led him on. But she was thinking about him several episodes back and she even hit herself on the head and thought she is crazy to think about him. That’s her being undecided or why would she think about another guy. As I said, I think all this was made to create unnecessary love triangle to just creat content. I believe the whole thing was unnecessary. They could have made more content to the story itself and have the prince be other than just the other guy in a love triangle.

I personally feel sorry for him, more for the actor. It’s obvious that the writer didn’t have enough material for 16 episodes. So, they decided to waste several episodes on unnecessary love triangle. From the ml telling the fl to move on and that he is not interested. Then after 2-3 episodes he gives her his parents ring. Fl was made to look undecided when she though about the prince and the ML. And the SML was made to just exit to serve as a part of a love triangle.
