I think u r missing the main point here. When u speak highly of one actor and diss their female partner, u r really negatively affecting the whole drama including The actors u suppose to support. I’m sure he himself wants his drama to be successful. In order for him to succeed, the whole team need to be seen as one.

I think the problem is the pacing of the character not the actress herself. The director and drama team should have worked better on her reaction to show natural character development. Hopefully, it will be better in the next episodes.

That’s exactly what Raymond did too (from vampire diaries) and he ended up falling for her. Whether they will have him fall in love her with or not in this drama, time shall tell . But I have inclination he will.

I also like smart female leads who r smart through out the whole drama but kinda not perfect . It’s rear to get that with kdrama and cdrama. They usually start smart then they become stupid soon after meeting the guy. The only fl that was consistently smart from dramas I watched was rookie historian. Wish they made more dramas with smart girls really.

Not only the 2 brothers fall for the same girl who is also look alike of a former lover (I’m simplifying a long story) but the characters of both brothers and the relationship dynamics between them is exactly the same. Even the red hair is the same.

Even if she is (which I also think were things are headed) She is in her human person now. Her character should reflect that. It was off putting watching her not getting surprised or scarred etc...

I have to say that after watching the first 2 episodes that I found that they were trying so hard to show that the fl is smart, but I’m not sold on that. She lacked human reactions and seamed unsurprised by what she saw. It looks so unnatural unfortunately.

Totally agree. That what I was thinking the whole time watching the first 2 episodes. Even if a person believed in supernatural creatures, they will have a human reaction and fear when they first encounter them. It just did not look natural at all.

Rookie historian has a very smart and awesome female lead and secondary female leads too and their friendship was very good - like a girls gang!

I personally did not like it from the start and even left comments since early episodes. I also think the opposite is true. Whenever there is a drama for one of those considered golden boys of kdrama land, the drama get hyped up by international fans because of the boy main lead in said dramas. Also these dramas with the known golden boys get pumped up in rating regardless if it’s good or not. Many of their dramas, if we r honestly critical, don't deserve the high ratings they get. The opposite happens for drama with less liked actor aka the not so good looking ones and people r actually more critical of their dramas. I’m also learning to trust Korean audiences more when it comes to dramas. They r more critical of the work of their people And this drama did not get that hype there. It hardly got 7% rating there.

I did not say she is not. But it’s also good to admit when celebrities have plastic surgeries as many people compare themselves to them and would feel bad for not being as good looking. Nothing wrong with it if it makes them happy too.

The first part was fantastic. I could not wait to watch. The second part slowed down and the end was sad but understandable.

These r 2 of my most favourites too and ssk is amazing for sure in both characters. Others ones of similar vibes that I could think about are what happened in Bali and que sera sera. Not sure if u watched them. They r early 2000s- a bit older. From daily longer drama the promise was good I’m regards of having similarities. But it’s a longer daily drama. Not sure if u like something like that. Such dramas are becoming rare unfortunately. Hope this helps :)
