Title Ichi
Alright, watching this after Seirei no Moribito was a little bit trippy, even that guy played the villain 9 years later. XD Anyway, her singing voice was really calming. Sadly, I don't think it's available to listen online.

Edit: Aww, after watching JIN, this was like an alternative universe for both of them set in an earlier time before the Bakumatsu period. But why he looks so much younger here than the drama even though it's only 1 year apart!??

If you watched Spy x Family, this is like Yor Forger's spin-off where she made friends with the neighbors while also helping them out in her own ways, but without Anya and much featuring of Loid.

Okay, I didn't cry on the drama, but I didn't expect to cry on this one. Jumping onto this immediately after the drama, the beginning of the movie put a heavy lift on my heart. Those slow moments were just wow- I wonder how will the Korean version play out. Since most of the time they have 16 eps, maybe they will expand until the movie arc too.

Ep 10: "Right now I'm like a character in a movie. It might not even be the leading part, but that doesn't matter." God, I love her!!
That ending
"Tadaima"
"Okaeri"
That scene was- wow XD
The way I just finished Seirei no Moribito 3 yesterday, and the last dialogue were the same...

Does anyone know where i can listen to the ending song? I really like it but can't find it anywhere.
You have to wait for a while, it's not officially released yet.

I never laughed so hard while reading a review before.
"a really bad wig."
"or in this case, ugly sweater."
"their father who hadn't sent so much as a birthday card in thirteen years"

Ep 9: It was a beautiful masterpiece. Every moment has been built up to that moment. I'm still crying as I'm blurringly…
Hellnah bro, the way my tears started falling when Torogai transformed into those birds.;-;
It all came crashing down when Alsa started speaking again. DX

Smol Chagum showed up and he has grown a bit, huh?
Mother and mother moment between the Empress and Balsa.
They didn't show us their goodbyes had me punching the air, bro.....
Those slow moments of Balsa walking home were really raw, but well done. I noticed that they used that a lot during those final scenes. Even when the Emperor and Chagum were meeting in Nayugu. The emotions I felt-

Ep 9: It was a beautiful masterpiece. Every moment has been built up to that moment. I'm still crying as I'm blurringly typing this out.

Overall, this was really entertaining. For a Jdrama production, they managed to do this much was unexpected and pleasantly surprising too. The production value is creatively designed which really sets them apart from the anime counterpart. (Please keep in mind that I haven't watched the anime version, I only checked out the fight scenes) While in the anime, the world is like Feudal Japan, Southwest China (?), and other cultures., this drama decided to design a whole new look for themselves. I really like how we can distinguish each nation, each tribe, and each person apart. We can even guess some of their origins by the ways they look, or dress themselves.

I also love the Opening Theme song. I'm glad they used it for all 3 seasons, except they only changed the visual sequences for S3, and yes, it was still beautifully done. Not to mention, that one slow piano piece playing at the end- wow- It was so raw and emotional.

The casting was great in their own roles. They even cast the right faces to play the younger counterparts or relatives. Like teenage Balsa to her grown-up self, and her aunt!? Bro!! They do look alike. However, there were some acting scenes by some actors that made me go "Ehh?!".

We can't end this without talking about the fighting sequences. This drama has made me appreciate spear-wielders even more. The choreography and camera directing really made the fight scenes worthwhile. And the Spear Dance for this season? I loved the story that revolved around it. The last episode made up for the flaws and I gladly gave this season a 10.

"Tadaima"
"Okaeri"
Goddammit, I cried over those words again. :'D
