I know the subber that quit subbed 11-12. So nobody will sub episodes 13-20?
LazySubber mentioned the people behind the series may upload it to a platform for international viewers so we'll like have to wait for that unless someone else wants to pick it up to sub. I don't blame subbers for not wanting to take on the task of subbing these series just for all their hard work to be stolen and promoted on other sites where they get zero benefit.
Well, I'll be honest, it wasn't great. There was a huge list of issues for me, but I think the most glaring ones were that the writing was very confusing (the writing was awful period), and the ending was ridiculously ambiguous after twelve LONG episodes. I really think the could have cut this series down to half its length there were so many redundant and unnecessary scenes IMO. I don't think I still really understand half of what went on and I watched the whole season lol anyway Por ended up being the only one I continued to force myself to watch for and it wasn't even necessarily because his storyline was all that great, Nana/Lun was also pretty interesting though I think they did Nana's character dirty, other than that it was pretty painful.
I don't care what anyone says I love this series so much lol and to me the storyline is pretty different. It has the same premise but it's different enough to still be interesting. Plus it's still just as hilarious and heartwarming as the first series, which is why I fell in love with it in the first place. Can't wait to see the next episode. Also, please tell me that Haruta and Naruse are going to get together because I'm already in love with the hilarious chemistry they have (Naruse's such a little sh*t lmao), plus it's a way different dynamic from Haruta/Maki which I like. I think it would have been bad if they reprised the same love story, but it seems they're going in a different direction this time around.
same i think it's bc i'm not comfortable with the age gap like isn't sbx in high school??
Yeah, that's probably what it is for me too. Though I think emotional maturity-wise the gap makes the age gap seem much larger. As much as he argues that he's not, Sun Bo is really immature, and it's particularly obvious with someone like Zhi Gang who's obviously so much more experienced in life and love. For example even though they're the same age Xi Gu comes off as much more mature than the other boys just purely based off having had a harder life (i.e. having experienced more). I think why it works with Xi Gu and Hao Ting is because they even each other out, it's like they both have what the other are missing in a sense. That's my take anyway haha
It's hard to rate this one because I actually surprisingly liked elements of it, but the quality and the writing aren't all that great. It's short so worth a watch.
Still love it! I'm so in love with Yu Xi Gu and Hao Ting, I think once their relationship becomes defined they're going to make for an adorable couple. I was thoroughly entertained during their scenes, and I already love that Hao Ting is slowly pulling out smiles from Xi Gu. Baby boy definitely deserves some happiness as his life is really harsh right now. I'm still excited to see what comes next, though I don't really like the secondary couple I think I've decided. They're just not my cup of tea.
it's hard for me to believe that there is anything more than just sexual attraction between Xiang Hao Ting and…
I could see her being vengeful just because I don't think she likes to lose. And worse for her I think would be to lose face with her friends that not only did she lost her boyfriend, he's now with the guy she tried to get but rejected her. I think she'd be petty, because of her entitlement but we'll see lol
Hao Ting is so annoyingly cute!! he's so adorable!! Xi Gu's reaction is totally understandable, how can he believe…
Same! I think the explanation Hao Ting gives to Sun Bo about how he's feeling and how it started is everything. If we hadn't had that dialogue I think there would have been an important piece missing in the storyline.
Have ya'll seen the chemistry between these two?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdKzO2HzKis Jesus. I'm not kidding that I spent the entire new episode with a huge smile on my face. Obviously, as usual with History I love that they portray love between two men as completely natural. It's first and foremost a love story, with an additional storyline surrounding it, like any other romantic comedy, or romantic drama which is how it should be! Everything Hao Ting is experiencing is the epitome of that first rush of young love, where everything just feels like it needs to be immediate and is intense. You feel like you're going to die from a smile haha it's young, frenetic and cute for sure. I also so love the sort of role reversal, with this cool, good looking "dude" (lol) being goofy in love with this shy, serious introvert. It makes for an interesting and adorable contrast. Can I also say that Xi Gu's character is killing me?! You just want to scoop him up and make everything ok for him, which is I'm sure what Hao Ting is going to be experiencing from here on out. I can't wait to see how the story and their relationship progresses. My only concern is Sun's storyline, I think he's too obsessive and immature so I'm not sure how that's going to play out in the long run. I can't wait for the next episode!

I'm really hoping what I'm sensing isn't going to happen. Please tell me that Yu Xi Gu doesn't get really sick and dies at the end. The 'Make Our Days Count' title seems ominous now that we know he's struggling with some kind of health issue. As sad as it sounds I'm hoping it's just him not taking care of himself, because that's fixable.
I've been waiting for this to air for forever, and so far it was so worth the wait! I'm really enjoying all the characters. I always love how HIStory mixes good plot with actual good humor. Also love the actors so far, so hopefully this continues to develop into what I hope it can be. Though I have one concern that I'll put in a spoiler below...
I'm all for plotless cute moments, I can enjoy a bit of fluff every now and then, which the beginning of this definitely was. Fuse and Tee were very much established relationship cute, even with some of the awkward acting. However, towards the end this turns in to a giant ball of frustration. I was also confused at the same things other people were confused by, which I'm not sure has been answered lol so I'd say take it or leave it. Not a bad watch, so if you're bored on a weekend it's a good binge, especially if you watched the original series and want a dose of nostalgia haha though I'll admit it's been so long I recognized no one outside of the main characters/couples lmao
I went back and watched Part 2 of Episode 2 again, because there were some comments about the fine line this show…
I don't know when someone tells you to stop that's pretty straight forward to me. I know people like to push the fantasy of "no, really means yes" but that's very dangerous. If someone is telling you "no" or "stop" you don't keep pushing your advances forward. It's perpetuating a societal problem. There's a lot I find really troublesome about the writing, but I think it stems from the author not fully understanding the trauma she/he's writing about, and instead using it as a plot device which happens frequently with fiction writers who don't do their due diligence so it's not all that surprising. I wish more care had been taken but I've learned what we can expect from scenarios like this in BL. I just hope the more people are educated about these subjects, the less we see them pop up.
