Is there an order in which we're supposed to watch these?

The premise of this drama: three effeminate gay guys and their lesbian friend was enough to make me completely open my heart to it. These types of characters don't often get the proper attention and respect they deserve, but this show does just that. Sure, we get the stereo-typical silliness that come along with "tootsies" (the amount of squealing in this series omg lol), but we also get to see other sides of them too. This show also sends out a lot of good messages about friendships and relationships (even if those lessons are about what NOT to do). At times, I really didn't buy Gus' acting (mostly just one sad scene), but otherwise, I really enjoyed this series and appreciated the message.

It's not a stretch to have that thought in general, but I took issue with the fact that you attacked *me* personally as if those were *my* sentiments. I never insinuated they were or said they were, but you just made the assumption and went of on a rant to me about stuff I complain about with my own friends in my own country. That's the hilarious irony of the many paragraphs you've written about the Chinese government thus far.

Yeah, they do represent more of the physical population. Around 10-11% if I'm not mistaken, but they have a greater representation than that percentage in the media. I don't feel that's justified which is why I originally said they were overrepresented.

I loved this show. However, they gave us like 2.5 couples, but then only five episodes? Lame! I also really enjoyed NewYear. I've been following him and his bf IG for two years and I finally got around to watching this show now. Does anyone know why he hasn't appeared in many other BLs (other than the plane crash [pun] that was What the Duck 2) or ...anything else for that matter? I mean, he has the looks, he's a decent actor and he's in a seemingly healthy relationship with another guy. This is the kind of high gay that Thai BLs need. We can't survive on just Fluke, Gun, and Earth. jk but seriously, I wish he were in more shows.

Sorry, I didn't to say Thai-Chinese have a wider scope than ethnically Thai people, just that that scope is a little broader (that is to say: a little more common) than half white people. I didn't take any issue with anyone's skin color or beauty though(?) I think you may have been responding to the other person with that. Thank you for your civil response, though. :)

It took me a while to put my finger on it, but I finally realize why, while I enjoyed the overwhelming majority of this series, I felt disappointed by the last episode. It's not just Kengkla raping Techno. That really is just the tip of the iceberg. It's that it was pre-meditated, that Techno's brother basically sold him, and Kengkla waited to get to Techno while he was drunk BECAUSE he was drunk. It's the fact that they play it off as funny the next morning. Playing it off as a joke/acceptable isn't anything new to BL, so I probably would have shrugged it off as another problematic BL trope, but in this SAME series another rape occurs and we see the full negative effects of it. How and WHY are we supposed to feel bad for Tar, but giggle at Techno?? Is it because Kengkla "likes" Techno, so he gets a pass? It's like a sick joke.

If you're not interested in the straight couples, then there's no real reason to watch Kiss. You can find the Pete/Kao cut of Kiss Me Again on YouTube which completely sets you up for DBK. Don't forget to watch their episode of Our Skyy too. Technically, it's between KMA and DBK, but it doesn't really matter that much when you watch it as long as don't watch it before KMA. lol

I'm not wrong. A large portion of our society does not support them and are not party members. It's my country. In spite of your assumptions, there's very little that I don't know about it. On the contrary, even though you know a lot about the effects of the CCP on other countries, you probably don't know as much as you think you do about the CCP here.

Anyway, I get that you have an extremely personal grudge against the CCP while simultaneously resenting all Chinese people by association, but that's not my fault. So, project that toward a productive goal instead of toward random people in China....especially the Chinese people who actually agree with you, like me.

I'm trying to get through this, but it's so hard. Zhao Yu Lan's character comes off as obnoxious and annoying. Shen Wei's look is just wayy to 'cute' for me to take him seriously as a brooding master of the underworld...and the set looks so cheap. :( It's sad cuz I really want to like it, but I'm 20 episodes in and I'm still just like...meh...

I've seen both this and LBC and I promise you it comes across WAYYYY worse in LBC because: 1) Kengkla is a stalker 2) Techno's brother sells him off. 3) Kengkla f***ing PLANS the rape while Techno is drunk BECAUSE Techno is drunk. 4) Kengkla LIES straight Techno's face saying that Techno took advantage of HIM and tries to manipulate him into being his boyfriend. In this drama, nothing even close to any of those things happen.

HOWEVER, what did happen wasn't OK, but at least it was addressed as being as problematic as it is by both characters, but they work through it which is why people take a lot of issue. Dating your own rapist is weird...even if you did technically have a little crush on them and came onto them while you were blackout drunk.

Also worth noting: in the Make It Right the novel, the character who's raped in the live drama (Fuse) is actually very coherent....while in LBC the novel Techno actually tells Kengkla "NO" multiple times and he does it anyway.

LBC pissed me off so bad. It was a perfect show for me until Kengkla came along and shat on it in the last episode.

Also, next time you decide to attack something online, you should stick to the topic instead of drifting into ad hominem rants against people just because of the country they come from. It really makes you look as bigoted as those corrupted people you were criticizing.

Still disagree with that first sentence. TopTap is of Chinese descent. No miscategorization there. Whether full Chinese or partial Chinese descent is still Chinese descent? One ethnicity doesn't outweigh the other, but the topic was the Chinese part, which is why I mentioned that.

In the same way that you can be born and raised in China while being ethnically Tai, you can be born in raised in Thailand with several generations there and be ethnically Chinese. Also, I don't know if you've been outside of Asia yet or if you really live here, but people mislabel all Asians' nationalities all the time. To think that Koreans go out of Asia and never get mistaken as Chinese and vice versa is hilarious.

I never disagreed that this hierarchy existed. I just pointed out the higher frequency those of Chinese descent as opposed to those of mixed western. Of course you could say that because those of Chinese descent make up a greater portion of the population than the mixed-westerners, that's why they're overrepresented, but still...they're not a majority or even half the population. So, when one looks at Thai TV from the outside, one gets the impression that most people look Chinese....not mixed-western

Those first two are awesome.
