Despite this drama having 31 very SHORT (less than 5 minute) episodes, it was NOT worth the watch and it could have been shorter. I liked the ML, the kid was cute, but even then, the drama was not good. It was so short but I still had to skip through it, took me a week to finish it and I skipped more than I watched.
I've watched almost everything he's on and I've never really noticed him until Smile to Life. Love him in Smile to Life, I really thought his character was going to make a downturn, but he kept getting better and better. In my opinion one if the best written second leads I've seen in a Cdrama.
I love the main lead couple and how their story revolved around saving the second lead couple. I love that they became good friends and then a couple after spending so much time together in order to save the future of their best friends. I also really like the second lead couple, but at one point I started to to resent Jirong. She would have willingly let her brother destroy not only her marriage and her life, but also get away with almost killing Jialan (TWICE). Shenghao deserved so much better than her and I would have been happier if they didn't end up together because she made him go through hell and back (a few times) whether it was through her direct actions or not.
I’m skipping every moment of the 2nd couple. The story arc is offensive and they are each intolerable..The main…
I was just saying what I read. I personally hate her voice and avoid her dramas. I only ever watched her dramas for her male co-stars, was never able to get past the first 2 episodes of her drama with Ryan Ding because of her voice. I especially hate how pouty she is. She always speaks with a pout. Idk of it was because I was paying more attention to the customs, CGI and special effects in LBFAD, but I didn't think her voice as the FL was that high and annoying. Her voice was a bit weird when she played the ML in the FL's body, it seemed as though she was trying too hard and just couldn't get the tone quite right.

I read that it is her real voice. She has a very childish and high pitched voice. But I think she made it higher in this drama. It annoyed me in some of the scenes, it wasn't bad in Love Between Fairy and Devil.
it IS good, it's just bc we're all angsty about the slow release of eng subs. idk if you can tell but most of…
I have no problem with the subtitles coming out late. The main couple were cute at first, but they got boring really fast. And the second lead couple, they started off really weird and felt off throughout so I skip them. This is one of Vin Zhang better and well written roles, but the plot itself isn't that interesting and it is dragging. I've already watched the main leads in all their other released dramas, waiting for Vin Zhang's new costume drama, looks promising.
I got so bored of this drama I was skipping through it and didn't realise I was watching it without subtitles. Honestly just want to finish this drama off and forget about it. The subtitles are taking so long I am going to finish it without and find spoilers on TikTok or something. Why was this drama so hyped, I though this would be one of Zhang Binbin's better dramas, it is not.
He was in Who Rules the World? Does anyone know what episode he appeared in. I don't remember him in the drama at all, but then again it had a great cast (supporting and main).
I loved the ending of this drama, I have never seen such a satisfying and happy ending for a Chinese drama of this trope (where the Main character either enters or leaves from a book world). I felt like the drama dragged a lot, the beginning was good and the ending was good, I skipped a lot of the middle and was more interested in the second lead couple in the middle. But overall, I loved all the characters and the ending was PERFECT.
Though his list of dramas doesn't seem that long, he is in EVERYTHING. I start a new historical/costume drama and I suddenly see him play a supporting role. A really good supporting role, always one of my favourite characters. Love him as the villain. His character in Jiu Liu Overlord was a bit boring compared to his other roles, but it is the only role I've seen him play the main character in. I want to see him play more villain roles like in The Flames Daughter (my first drama of his) and his recent role in Thousand Years for You. A villain main character would be really good like The King's Women, he could play a really good anti-hero lead. He also always has really good chemistry with everyone in all his roles. I don't even have to search for him, I know I will end up watching more of his dramas.
I haven't watched this drama yet. I know it has a sad ending so like the King's Women, I am building up the courage to watch it because I feel like it would be really good. But, is this connected to Forever and Ever drama wise, I know story wise Forever and Ever is their next life, but is it obviously connected in the drama? Is there like a lot of hints.
Not even second lead syndrome, but Hua Hao was a lot better to and for Xing Zi then Jun Tai was. He always trusted her despite having good reason not to. Jing Wen was his sister whom he loved, but he always trusted Xing Zi because he knew what type of person she was, and yet Jun Tai, Xing Zi's lover for the majority of the drama couldn't even trust her despite knowing the type of person she was. He almost always believed Jing Wen and everyone else before believing Xing Zi, he always doubts Xing Zi. Not just once, but throughout the drama he showed he didn't trust Xing Zi's words/actions, especially between ep 40 - 50. Jun Tai was always willing to cover for Jing Wen, but when it came to Xing Zi... she didn't do anything he needed to cover her for, but Hua Hao was always the first to come to her aid.
I usually stick with romance when it comes to Cdramas and don't like the horror genre in general. I am 8 episodes in and I actually like this drama. I love the relationship between the male leads and I LOVE the female lead, I suppose you need to watch Cdrama that is not romance to find female characters that aren't remotely annoying or stupid (yes there are some romance cdramas like this, but not a lot). The first few episodes were a bit of a drag. I thought it wouldn't go much into the background of the main characters, but I like how the story is starting to focus more on the main characters now (around ep 4 and after) and less on the new ghost/mystery.
He's from Exile Tribe! Came here after going through the cast of a drama. He's from FANTASTICS! I am currently OBSESSED with his music, never thought to search of the members of the group, because there are so many people. But, he's an actor as well so I have to watch some of his dramas and movies.
She's so PRETTY. Currently watching her in Please Don't Spoil Me. Love her acting, her character is well written and she so pretty in both the modern day and costume, outfits and hair.
