Forever Love (2023) has a happy ending for the ML.

1. Open Ending (ending of the final episode says "The End Season 1" implying there will be a Season 2 but no indication that such is currently in the works). However, the ending of the final episode does have the leads both appearing in the real world (versus the game world where almost all of the drama happened) so a future happy ending could be assumed...
2. Short web - each episode is only 2 minutes but still interesting
3. Good chemistry between the leads
4. Episodes 22 and 24

They become a couple in Episode 17

A very enjoyable, easy to watch, drama that I recommend.

However, I did find the ceremony at the end odd. It seemed more like a wedding ceremony than a proposal. Was that because the ML was not yet of legal age to marry? Seemed like he had a year to go when he left to go overseas and I wasn't sure how much time he spent over there. I guess it was one way to kinda give us a wedding at the end...

Happy ending?

I couldn't understand why Van Zhang appears so low down in the "Cast & Credits" especially given how prominent he was in the early episodes of the drama. After episode 9 I completely understand.

Watched the first few episodes of this drama and kept thinking that it seemed so familiar that I must have already watched it sometime in the past. However, after looking up the drama airing date (July 2023) it seems that there was no way that I've watched this drama in the past. Mystery solved when I realized that I've read the novel (Waiting For You In A City) that the drama is based on. The drama must follow the novel story lines fairly closely for the drama to seem so familiar based upon a novel I must have read at least a year ago.

So was this just season 1 of a 2 part drama? I didn't see any mention under Related Content above of a Season 2 but I don't want to start watching if there is a season 2 until season 2 starts airing. If not part of a 2 part series, did Xiao Yao have a happy end and who, if anyone, did she end up with? Thanks!

Overall, a super cute, no-angst youth drama. Loveable ML and FL and adorable cast. ML was sweet with his repeated failed confessions. The secondary romance wasn't as enjoyable as the lead romance due to the immaturity of Jiang Juanjuan.

I heard, perhaps incorrectly, that they filmed a happy ending to drama but didn't air it. Has this happy ending (if it exists) been publicly released? A link, if available, would be much appreciated.

Wonderful coming of age drama. Female lead was outgoing, cheerful and unwavering in her love towards the male lead. Male lead was quiet and reserved and while we really got the female leads POV drama was able to convey that he was equally devoted to the female lead.

On a side note, the drama did leave you wondering about how prevalent in real life workplace sexual harassment is when the female lead is reprimanded by her boss for not allowing a client to sexual harass her or force her to get drunk at a company social event. Leaves you wondering if this is like back carries or not, happens in most dramas but not so much IRL.

Thanks! Just surprised that she didn’t want to meet her mother especially after the scene where the 18th version of her indicated that her mother was different from her other mothers and that she would come back in her next life to see her.

So the female lead speculated that the reason she was reincarnated so rapidly into her 19th life was because she was murdered in her 18th life. Does this mean that we have a storyline where Mrs Jang hired the “truck of doom” in the female leads 18th life to murder the male lead but killed the female lead instead? Just wondering…

I am finding the premise of this drama interesting.

Also do they explain why the female lead in her 19th life only cared about seeing Seo Ha from her 18th life and appears to have been completely indifferent to meeting her parents and sibling from her 18th life. She did approach her niece from her 17th life but never her family from her 18th life and only ended up meeting her sister by coincidence and hid from meeting her mother.
