those who are saying that he did not like her because she is following his tips , i agree...but we can't forget…
I think the novel did a better job in explaining why the ML didn't like the FL. In the novel the ML had a very bad relationship with his mother and his mother tried to fix him up with the FL. The ML's mother and the FL's mother were friends and the ML's mother really liked the FL. So the ML's actions towards the FL was more in response to him fighting his mother than anything to do with the FL herself. It seems that this entire story line from the novel is not included in the drama.
Really no separation in the novel. Although early in the novel the FL does stop pursuing the ML when she thinks…
Yes, I hope the drama does a good job on capturing this as the ML's realization of what he had just done and how he tried to redeem himself were the best parts of the novel.
My favorite parts of the novel was the ML's shock and horror when he realizes that he has reject the person who he has a crush on and his inept attempts to win her back. Hopefully, the drama will be as good as the novel...

Spoilers from the novel
In the novel, on the last day of college FL confesses to the ML who rejects her pretty coldly and completely. She vows to get over him but it turns out that both of them have moved into the same apartment complex living across the hall from each other. ML discovers a few hours after he rejects the FL that she is the gamer friend that he has a crush on. He then somewhat ineptly tries to win her back. (Actual, my favorite parts of the novel, was the ML's 'OH SH*T what did I just do moment' and his attempts thereafter to win back the FL).
It takes awhile for the FL to realize the ML is also her gamer friend. She becomes very angry at the time of her discovery especially when she remembers her discussions with her gamer friend about the ML. She ignores the ML for several days, but they still work for the same company (by this point she is also working in the Ninth Division) and live in the same apartment so she can't totally avoid him.
At some point thereafter, FL gets locked out of her house and has to move in with the ML for a few days until a friend who has a key returns to town.
I have two questions for those who have read the novel. Is their gonna be any seperation angle into the story…
Really no separation in the novel. Although early in the novel the FL does stop pursuing the ML when she thinks he has a girlfriend. The most negative character in the novel was a female team leader (who in the drama appears to be the male group leader Yin Jun). Some of the other co-workers/bosses in the drama didn't exist in the novel. Jiang Yi who seems pretty negative in the drama, didn't exist in the novel.

The novel that this drama is based on has now been full translated. I just finished reading the novel and for the most part the drama follows the novel very closely. One difference was in the novel, the FL never blocked the ML's attempts at physical closeness.
The ending time line seemed off. Subs said "three years later" but suddenly Jiang Yang is married with a son who looks about 5 years old. Were the subs wrong, and the time skip longer? Also, kinda disappointing that Lin Lin/Meng Xiao Yue storyline was just left danging (wonder if Mo Bao Fei Bao is planning on a sequel with them). Would have been much better if he was the one at the end who was married and had a son...
What are the 2 cities in Episode 1 that they are supposed to be in? The subs say Hel and Hexion but the taxi drivers speak in English. The novel has them in the USA but I'm not aware of any cities named Hel and Hexion in the USA (plus the car license plates look European).
