I thought it had too much in the way of palace politics and not enough crime solving... FL was touted for her brilliant crime solving abilities so thought it would focus more on crimes to solve, not palace backstabbing...

Ok, I appreciate that they gave us a happy ending, BUT I'm but not sure why they had to have a 1 year time jump, with the ML only confessing to the FL after he is told by the physician that he has "lovesickness". Kinda lame.

So far, I'm enjoying this drama. It an easy, low stress drama. Kinda reminds me of My Fated Boy with the competent older FL.

So I enjoying the drama, except for the palace politics. I lose interest in drama whenever
Jung Woong In (Jo Won Bo) appears.

Seems like its been awhile since we have had a good weekend family drama.

Ones that I have really enjoyed are Five Enough, Father is Strange, Family's Honor, Ojakgyo Brothers, My Daughter Seo Young, Giant and Once Again.

I did love Fall In Love and liked Arsenal Military Academy. Rookie Agent Rouge (2016) was also a very good Republican Era drama. I also really enjoyed the Battle of Changsha (2014), but it was a very sad drama.

If you haven't already watched Night of Love With You, I highly recommend it.

The storyline itself is somewhat reminiscent of Extraordinary You where all of the action takes place inside a comic/manga. The female lead, who in all of her past comic/manga roles has been the villain, suddenly finds herself due to a glitch in the comic as the sickly heroine (bad clothes and all). She's a pretty engaging character, both strong and somewhat manipulative. The male lead is the villain of the drama. Definitely very humorous. It's my all time favorite Chinese short web drama.

I did watch The Legends as it was airing but don't actually remember his character from that drama (guess a rewatch is in order as I'm sure I'll remember his character once I see him in it).

The Killer is Also Romantic has a Mr and Mrs Smith vibe and was a fun watch. If you haven't watched this one, I think YT has all of the episodes combined into one 3 1/2 hour drama.

Of his short dramas, I think Destined to Meet You is my favorite.

I do hope Bossy Husband was a second season, but it hasn't shown up yet on his MDL page.

Yes, I really enjoyed Destined to Meet You. I've watched all 5 of Yang Ze short web dramas.

While I'm enjoying the drama, I'm finding the palace politics, especially Jo Won Bo, a complete drag on my enjoyment. I'd be happier with more investigation and less Jo Won Bo.

Really cute, fun drama. I'm use to seeing Yang Ze in historicals with long hair, he looks like a completely different person with a modern hair cut.

I agree, I now look for short web dramas with Yang Ze as the lead. So far, I've liked all that I've watched, including Bossy Husband Who Loved Me (waiting for season 2), Destined to Meet You, The Killer is Also Romantic, and this drama.
