Maybe cloy was special to me because it was my gateway into the drama world. Could be I have happy memories of it because I was encountering all the usual tropes the first time. Now I'm jaded. I now find animes my daughter recommend to be muchmore interesting to watch then drama. It's been a dry year, just like the weather lol...

Perhaps Netflix had a hand in my frustration . The pre season teasers were leading me to think that this is romcom with a bit of melodrama somewhat in the vein of cloy. What I got was was penthouse with perhaps better lead actors.

First quarter, script was good to okay. After that maybe writer got busy with other assignments and relinquished control to chatgpt.

I feel bad for the actor playing the baddy guy. The hate he is generating, he could be career stereotyped as evil bad guy like Christopher Reeves and Superman. He needs to find a real ROMCOM fluffy role next time.

It does not have the spatial resolution for this type of delicate operation. I mean take a look at pregnancy Bscan and how low detail the image is.

I wonder if not liking it is somehow age related.? My wife, who like me is approaching middle age doesn't quite like it too, although she's still watching it when she can. And she's the type who laps ups romcoms like anything.

Yeah, I think if you somehow don't get invested emotionally with the story of the main leads, then this show is indeed average especially with the excruciating length of each episode.
