I am afraid I couldn't even finish the 1st quarter of ep6 today before I lost interest. The rekindling of the love triangle was the last straw. Will probably wait for series to end and then watch last episode. The pacing of the plot is like those long winded 50 1 hour episode series. Just too draggy. The story could have been condensed to a very good 15 episode series.

He basically looks like my classmate, good looking but not say Hyun Bin level? I come from a generation of men that wants to look like Harrison Ford or Sean Connery. The FL role is by definition that of a manic pixie dream girl. Doesn't have to have super model look or figure. Its the bubbly personality that is important in "reawakening" the king. You got me wrong. I have no bias JSM or GYJ. It sthe story that counts for me., I actually feel bad for (real) Mudeok, wanted a good closer and happy ending for her. Born to be a powerful priestess, yet ended up being a street tramp- and then soul shifted into oblivion.

I would think that they have already filmed all the required JSM scenes for series 2. She would probably appear in one episode or two, to close the mother-daughter thread and also for Naksu's soul to leave JSM's body. - Unless there is some legal contractual issues to prevent that from happening. In that case, it would be weird season 2.
No way she would not appear after ep20. What, refer to Mudeok in the third person in season 2 without actually showing JSY. That's nuts. JSY just not the main lead anymore. And hopefully Mudeok/BY storyline is resolved and she gets back with her mama. .

Never been able to pass one or two episodes of modern Chinese dramas before dropping them though. Just too long and the excessive use of CGI puts me off. I actually prefer choregraphed sword fights than those lightning bolts thingy.

Last 20 minutes of episode 20 was really good. If only they had kept it tight like that throughout the whole series. The first half of the series was also good. Then all those love triangles kicked in. Whta's AC?
I wonder if its the writers or TVN/ suits fault for the unnecessary length of the series 1. If the script was tighter(12 episodes ), omitting the various love triangles and fillers, this could have been a superb series. Who knows, maybe S2 will be more focused since its only 10 episodes.. - 7.5/10
