Things like this and the temple of doom have led me to watch this more as the retelling of a fairy tale, rather…
You are right, but I dislike plot holes. A bit careless on the writer's part. They could have shown how hilly or difficult the trek is, then it makes sense.

Looks like they have deviated from the drama significantly which means the possibility of happier ending is higher. That is good.

Rewatching again, the kite flying scene is not logical. According to Deok Kim, it takes two hours at running speed to reach the palace from the river bank. Assuming Mama Nim's average jogging speed is 5 kmh, that is at least 10km away. How can the CP see the kite when it so tiny, it will just be a white dot.

I know I am in the minority here but I like the earlier episodes were better because there was more couple time. I hope this rebellion/coup phase gets resolved in 1-2 episodes.

I find the secret organization also interesting. It looks like it’s been there for a long time. Yeah, honestly…
Japaneses invasion of Korea was around1600. King had to flee the palace so I guess they are referring to that period.

There's going to be conflict between these two later on so how could they have left this scene out?

What question was the assassin court lady asking FL about the crown prince that got her so flustered?

Wow, I hope she feels better soon! And thank you Kim Kyung Nam for asking for too much money? 😂 What a blessing…
Naive question, how big in Junho in the kpop idol world? I don't follow that scene. Yes, I've heard of groups like BTS and RedPink in the news but never heard any of their songs before.

"Rapid Development"? Hmmm...that's interesting. I'm assuming they mean numerous time jumps or some kind of condensed…
Tone down the politics please. And less of Lady Jo's Temple of Doom cult.

You should try Bossam too if you haven't.
First half is very good. Gets a bit political second half.
Very good chemistry and acting by the two leads. Bonus: No love triangle.
I would had said hands down it the best sageuk drama of 2021 if Red Sleeve haven't shown up. I will wait for red Sleeve to finish before concluding.

It’s speculated that the whole thing was planned by the king - he knew There would likely be an assassination…
Ahh..so maybe they will change the ending to "happy one" just like what Disney to Little Mermaid? And the villain will die by falling off a cliff.

In the minority here , but I hope no kiss till last scene of last episode. Keeps the tension and expectations…
p/s the hug was much better than most lame "frozen statue" kdrama kiss scenes.

If there is a kiss scene, people will 🤯🔥
In the minority here , but I hope no kiss till last scene of last episode. Keeps the tension and expectations high all the way to the end. I think Bossam did not have a kiss at all in entire series and I enjoyed the series.

Isn't there a novel ? Unless the drama has diverged from the book, i thought the plot would be known for those who have read the book.
