Yes, she doesn't appear to be listed in the cast on MDL. I wonder if the battle sequences will be filmed last. I like the ML to exude power and be believable as a leader of men in scenes of warfare, so I'm very keen to see this. It's a tough ask, and many MLs are just not suited to these roles. I've also been following the LIRD bts. WXY filmed his battle / warfare scenes not that long ago. Wow! Talk about looking the part. He oozes a fierce intensity and an authentic authoritative feel. His horsemanship stands out as well. He's very comfortable on horseback. Looking forward to seeing what Neo brings. Yes, what you describe about the sets sounds fascinating. Ah, that explains it. I basically got up the next day and all the LIRD content had been buried by TWD content. Weibo is like that. Unless you bookmark it, it may disappear overnight.

She's going to have a great year in 2026 with two costume dramas airing. Looking forward to both. Her GLASS Magazine colab is due out in a few days. I'll post the content on her MDL page 😁.

A couple of quick observations...

1) Zhao Qing has really been impressive in this role. I haven't enjoyed her in everything, but she's really stood out here. Girl's breaking my heart each interaction with HL.

2) I wonder if Zhang Waner is going to be the next young actress to catch fire 🔥. She pops up in everything.

She's a fellow actor from the 05 group. She's someone Ai Mi is often compared to. She starred in Melody of Golden Age with Ding Yuxi and is currently filming another drama with him called Escape to Your Heart. They are in Hengdian filming at the same time as Neo and Ai Mi.
