Yes! Though it kind of sort of depends on what you're looking for. So like if you want historical romance, very good chemistry, good plot, and likeable leads (very good actors) then yeah, this is really good and I recommend! I have no idea why the rating dropped. Ppl are complaining about the ending being rushed, but that is the usual C-drama fashion. Nothing to ride home about.
I haven't finished this yet--for now I see this on par with A Dream of Splendor, the Sword and the Brocade, and Under the Power, which are all very good historical romances. Once I finish it I might even rate it higher, because I am thoroughly enjoying every second of it.
I honestly cannot see how people are rating this an 8, not to mention a 7.5! This is not 8-star rating quality--it deserves a minimum of 8.5 stars, hello? Is it just me?
Does anyone know what the main character's ages are approximately? I'm wondering because the FL had her coming of age ceremony, while the ML appears to be well established into the political world, and of high influence, which makes me think he can't be that young.
I'm just wondering cuz I don't see an older man/younger woman tag under this drama so maybe the age difference isn't as big as I'm assuming it is.
After watching it, I realized this is the sequel that I (and perhaps all of us) had waited for, but then wished…
It's seriously that bad? Is it the plot? Or the actors? The FL is crazy young to be playing this role. I don't think I've ever seen such a new drama get this low of a rating
So I'm seeing a lot of reviews commenting on the ending. I just started this, but I need to know, is it a happy ending? Because if that is the case, that's all I need. Having been traumatized before by C-drama tragic endings (for the leads), I cannot bear to put myself through that pain again. So if the leads end up together and live, that's really all I need. Whether the ending was rushed or not--that's a whole other matter. Unfortunately C-dramas have a reputation for rushed endings.
Sidenote: the FL is stunning. Does anyone know what time period this is set in?

No new rumors?
