Ik, that's why I was so happy with the pairing. Both really good actors, that's why the scenes have so good. I told someone yesterday that anything can be bad in the drama vfx, script, execution but never the acting. CL's eyes are always so expressive as if he doesn't need dialogues, it really makes you feel his sentiments, BaiLu's crying so immersive that it makes us cry as well.

Both of them actually. Bai Lu with Wang Hedi, Luo Yunxi, Joseph all were so good. Even Cheng Lei with Lu Yuxiao, Zhouye, Wang Churan. Every time these two have a drama, I change my favourite ship of them, haha.

Exactly episode 4 changed the scenario. I really thought they changed the powerful ML of the novel to a damsel guy in the drama. But nope they didn't. Both Yeli and her husband are acting powerless while secretly trying to change things in their favour. Very interesting.
MXY did you just shout at the Emperor??? He deserved that though, but you are really fearless. Take some training from your wifey about how to feign innocence and be a calm person in front of others.
The entire pov of MXY is so sweet. Initially from episode 1, it seemed how only Yeli went to him, saw what he did. But the fact that he continuously monitored her, smiled at her antics, liked her, remembered her is very beautiful. Lol, and those exercises scenes, hahaha!
